The Mermaid Shop — Local services in Higgins Township

This is such a unique shop. I’ve been visiting it for 11 years and it’s always a wonderful experience. It’s my absolute favorite place to browse and spend. The owner is amazing and she is very creative with artistic displays. She is an expert at curating her selection. It is a blend of vintage and new items. Selection ranges from quirky to glam to classic. Tons of jewelry and really great gift selections. I never leave without getting something. I really love so much about this store, you have to see it, it’s an experience. She also takes great care in making sections for each theme- owls, mermaids, comic book items, bears, birds etc. unique gifts. Most items are one of a kind. We've lived in town for two and a half years now, but due to busy schedules, we never got to check this place out. We were FINALLY able to snoop inside, and boy were we surprised!

The Mermaid Shop consists of five rooms, each themed with different trinkets and items, all of which are for sale. Most of the displays are painted the same tranquil blue color, and almost everything inside is vintage and incredible! There were so many things inside that we loved!
