
I was a little intimidated to try boxing at first because I have never done it before. Quickly, that intimidation went away as soon as I walked in the door. I was met by the huge smile of Marco and the welcoming community that is his boxing gym. I was amazed at the range of people at the gym. From first timers, like me, to people who had been boxing for over a decade, there is a spot for everyone in Marco's class. After 2 months of boxing, I lost over 25 pounds. Every single class is challenging and very fun. You get real boxing experience learning how to punch and defend yourself. The camaraderie of the gym makes for a positive and motivational experience.
