Warning: After a hike at Hartshorne Woods Park, I stopped by this establishment. Before sampling a juice, I specifically asked the staff if any products contained nuts. I was told no, but after drinking the sample, I was informed it contained peanut butter.

I immediately experienced a life-threatening allergic reaction, struggled to breathe, and had to be rushed to the hospital, where I was treated with a defibrillator. This incident could have been fatal.

I love the Waterwich Grocer. What a welcomed addition to Highlands. Everything you need to make a meal with is in this store with fresh vegetables, fruit, Bell and Evans chicken, meatless products and more. It has the best bread, organic milk and eggs, cheeses, so many wonderful items to choose from.There's also a juice bar in the back of the store called Pachamama, with fresh juices, smoothies and bowls. I’ve recently discovered a jewel in the rough… it’s the Best curated food and grocery store I’ve ever shopped. It’s an old school neighborhood grocery store with the best meat and produce, breads , cheeses …and if needed essentials are also stocked — most notable here , everything has been hand selected by the owners.
