We called the place 15 mins in advanced to ask if we could make a reservation and they said that they had space and we didn’t need to make a reservation. When we got there, they were surprised and said they weren’t sure if they could accommodate such a bit party and they didn’t know we called. We had a party of 8 and had to cram on this smallish table. We ordered our food at 7:30 and did not receive our food until 8:20 and even then it wasnt even all the food. We asked the lady around 8 when our food would be expected to come and she looked surprised and said it would be out shortly but the kitchen was backed up (her reaction and the amount of time we waited caused us to speculate she forgot to put in our order) even though since we sat down and ordered, many people came in and left and all the people who came in after us got their food and many parties have even left before we received all of our food. We ordered one pizza, one chicken parm, an order of clams, two pastas, a wrap and a lasagne along with two garlic bread which did not justify the time it took to make the food. The pizza was not anything special and the garlic bread was not good but all the other food was good. Overall the service was very disappointing and wasted a lot of time and it was just insulting to see other people being served so quick after it took us about an hour for us to even receive...

The place looks nice, but not a very good option. Servers were mildly unprofessional and laughed off when we complained that a few dishes came 15 mins after the first ones. I understand it's meant to be more of a casual restaurant, but service is mediocre for the prices they're charging.

The food was pretty bland, everything was missing salt and looked as if it was thrown together in the microwave. Our garlic bread, which we waited an hour for, was literally a small clump of garlic in the middle of the bread. I took one bite and most of the garlic fell onto my main dish.

I was torn between 2 and 3 stars, but the kicker was when I tried a slice of my friend's cheese pizza. I finished one bite and spit out the second. I appreciate the staff trying to be nice, but this brought my opinion of Franny's from mediocre to abysmal. Hopefully the chefs were having a bad day, this was truly...

We had frequented Franny’s the summer. before 2020 and a few times in the summer of 2021 & 2022. We returned again on 6/27 because we had enjoyed Franny’s pasta dishes and the casual atmosphere. However, the night we arrived, the service was dismal! We had to ask for bread, then butter and finally grated Parmesan cheese for our rigatoni. My meatball appetizer was ok - but the meatballs weren’t tender or crumbly. However, the tomato sauce was very good. Our order of rigatoni though was slapped together resembling a glob of pink glue. The pasta sauce was pink & a large slice of mozzarella had been melted over what seemed to taste like parboiled pasta. Perhaps the cook should learn how to better prepare this dish. We asked the manger to return the dish and she did immediately, without charging us. We will not return again unless we want to order...

We stopped in as we were passing through and it was a pleasant experience. There is no direct table service. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. I was kind of confused by this system because I observed food brought to the wrong table several times. The pizza was good. My wife thought the sauce was too sweet but I thought it balanced the saltiness of the cheese well. The meatballs were very good. They were tender and delicious. Unfortunately they were not a consistent size. We got a huge one and tiny one which was kind of annoying because they were expensive in my opinion. The price of the pizza was reasonable on the other hand so it made up for it. ***Feedback for owner, please find a system of tracking orders to tables since there is no true table service. Maybe consider table numbers or some other simple system.

My friends and I stopped by and got pizza and a salad. Let me start off with my order, I got a white pizza. Usually white pizzas have ricotta plopped on them in several places, right? This one had zero of that. The little ricotta it did have was hidden under the other cheese. I payed $16 for a large. Not worth it. Now let's move on to the Ceasar's salad my friend got for $13. Please order it for yourself and let me know what you think. The chicken pieces were sparse and tiny and the salad came in a very small aluminum container. Not even close to being worth the price. The only saving grace was the glutten free pizza my other friend got. She loved it which is why I'm giving the 2 stars. By the way, I only took a picture of my pizza but do take a look and see if you can spot the ricotta anywhere.

What a treasure of a find! After arriving in the Highlands via the Seastreak Ferry, I picked up two Granny-Style pizzas (par-baked and not sliced) and brought them down to our beach house in Cape May. They were a huge hit!! They were delicious and cooked up perfectly in the oven. We continued to eat the leftovers for days and the quality never declined. I highly recommend the granny pizza. In addition to the pizzas, they sold a small container of salad dressing that we used on our own salad greens. This was a perfect meal -- delicious and very reasonably priced. I love this place and look forward to returning!
