To start with - I had made an appointment for Saturday at 9am to give them plenty of time and the establishment called me back to reschedule for 4pm on a weekday.

PLEASE CONSIDER a different place for bleaching/dying. As for hair cuts, I wouldn’t trust this place either based on what I heard and saw while getting my hair done. “I give you 5 minute haircut,” and the guy literally cut people’s hair in 5 minutes. Didn’t blend the sides and absolutely botched some kid’s first haircut. Shawn (don’t quote me on spelling) had terrible manners, was short with everyone regardless of age or ethnicity, and was generally unprofessional all around. Note: Shawn was not my stylist, nor was Mary.

I really wanted this place to be my new root spot but I must say I am thoroughly disappointed. I came in for a 5” root touchup on half my head and my first shower post bleaching left me with (easily) a 1/3 less hair than I had before. I’ve been bleaching & dying my own hair for over a decade and just wanted to treat myself to less mess and someone else attending to the touchup. My appointment was at 4, I was early so 3:45, and we finished at 6:30… I was under the heat lamp 2x.

My hair typically takes 6 hours (if not longer on virgin roots) to process. The hair dresser tried to quicken the process by amping up the heat and it RUINED my hair. You can’t bake a cake at double heat for half the time, same thing applies to bleaching… My processed half of hair is significantly thinner and shorter than my black half. Luckily I have fast growing a hair and a healthy scalp but I have a bald patch at the back of my head and extremely choppy breaks along my part. If I could give this place zero...

I have been coming here since 1992. What to say? I was referred when they 1st opened. I have now referred a dozen or more family members who use their services…a variety of them. For me, it’s been a great haircut, with or without an appointment- since I was in my 20’s. Sean has been the man! Mary has also cut my hair when Sean is away. The pricing is too low. I tell him that lol! Last 20 yrs I also get a beard trim to perfection. They give prompt and fast service at the best prices & no hassle re: appointments. Kind & Hard working people. Great hair product offering as well. Don’t hesitate to use them. They should be at 5 stars easy. Don’t know why I didn’t...

I have been going here for over a decade and the lady here is amazing. She knows what kind of haircut I want and does it. If I have questions, she answers it in a polite manner.

I came here last week to get a haircut and the guy who works here always has an attitude. I told him I wasn't sure since the lady does my hair cut and instead of giving me options, he kept telling me I was wrong about the lengths. Basically, any excuse to get me out of there because I would usually pick the lady to do my haircut.

This is my last time visiting here because I do not want to deal with that but for anyone going here, avoid the guy...
