Ninja bowl Teriyaki - 185th — Restaurant in Hillsboro

My favorite NinjaTeriyaki is opening in my neighborhood.😊👍 I am looking forward to its opening for business.🤤 Update 12/13/2022. I walked by today and they were open.😊 Update 12/16/2022 We first tried Ninja Bowl Teriyaki at Banks 5-6 years ago. At that time we learned that it was a sister restaurant to our 10 year favorite, Kokiyo Teriyaki #3, and we thought, no wonder it was so good.🤤 We were happy when the Murray Blvd. location opened later, but we went there yesterday because they opened a new location in a much closer neighborhood on 12/12/2022. The restaurant was bright and open and more spacious than we expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had the Shrimp Udon Noodle Soup and the Chicken & Beef Teriyaki. Of course both were very tasty. 😊👍 1/11/2023 Updated. Today we had the Tofu Udon Noodle Soup and the Honey Spicy Chicken. As always, the portions are generous yet reasonably priced and delicious.🤤 03/14/2023 The yakisoba and yakiudon noodles at all restaurants are very sweetly seasoned, but I prefer Japanese savory seasoned yakisoba and yakiudon noodles. The yakiudon here was less sweet and easier to eat than at other restaurants. The teriyaki bowl also had a gentle flavor.😊 08/29/2023 I have been to this restaurant many times, and it is my favorite. We had the Chicken Teriyaki and Tofu Udon Noodle Soup. The portions are always generous and tasty, and the price is reasonable.🥰 09/22/2023 We had the Tofu Udon and The Tofu Mini Bowl. I tried the tofu mini bowl for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was much larger than I expected.

I order on the phone I tried explaining to this lady.the plate that I wanted,I ordered the chicken teriyaki with shrimp and received the one in the picture no chicken.I called this lady on the phone to tell her that she made my plate wrong.She started being rude in the phone I tried to explain again that she didn’t understand me.the 3 times I tried telling her my order she didn’t understand I told her in a nice way that I couldn’t understand her language.so when I went to pick up my order I never thought of checking the food.when I got home my daughter noticed that there was no chicken.i started to eat my food cause didn’t eat all day I was going to let it pass that’s why I started my plate.my daughter didn’t want to eat with out the chicken.so I called back trying to get the correct food she started telling me that that’s what I order when I didn’t.like I said I don’t want to be rude but she wouldn’t understand me.she started to yell at me and she hang up on me 3 times so I went in person to tell her if that’s how she treats her customers she answered yes so I ask for my money back.She didn’t want to give my money back.so then I ask for the food I ask for.in a rude way she said what you want.and she said that this was the first time she seen me.i been going lots of times but now I don’t feel like going to that place no more.i hope the owners see this message I’ll like my refund back because of how I was treated there.cause she said she didn’t care if I stop going there.that was really rude of her. no wonder there’s never people there.i...

It was pretty good but not great. I got two bowls of the chicken katsu and honestly it wasn’t terrible nor amazing. Kinda just meh in the middle. It sort of felt like they take their grilled chicken and then just fry it into a chicken katsu to save time and prep. But I don’t know 100% of course just you could tell when the chicken katsu breading fell of the chicken and you see the grilled grey looking chicken underneath. The meat wasn’t white, it was grey kinda dull. I wasn’t sure whether that was normal or not but I’ve had really good chicken katsu and I haven’t seen it any other color than white. Strange for sure. The rice was good, but the veggies were too big and too hard to chew. They were steamed but not on the soft side, pretty tough still. I don’t mind personally but I know some people do. I was hoping this could become my little spot with my partner and I to go get food, but I don’t think it will happen now.
