Nothing surprising for an auto shop, but there’s been a shift to grab as much from the customer as possible and I received my car in worse shape then when I dropped it off. After my car went through a thorough dealer-servicing, I brought my car in here to replace 4 tires and save money. They came back with a long list of things that needed replacing which completely contradicted what the dealer found. I had to decline all their recommendations. I did of course accept balance and alignment services since I was replacing all tires. During my wait (they had my car for two full days to replace the tires, when they said it would be 1/2 day) I witnessed them multiple times milking elder customers for BS parts and services. After picking my car up with the new tires, the drive was HORRIBLE. They got me! Charged me for balance and alignment and one or both of these were definitely not performed. It feels like a wheel is going to fall off. I’ve never experienced a worse driving feel, very unstable feel. I won’t be returning to haggle a fix because I don’t want to wait two days. I have no faith in these mechanics. I’ll spend more at another place to perform balance...
Read moreThe only good thing I can say about this location is they honored the price match of my tires that we did through corporate online. I ordered 4 new tires and had them installed. They didn't get the job done in the time they promised causing me issues with commuting and having no car. They apologized but I still had to stand there and argue the price match agreement. What truly angers me is they tried to screw me over and upsell me brakes. They wrote on my receipt that my brakes were 90% worn and tried to talk me into having them done. I refused as I actually do the work on my car myself with my husband. I only take it in for new tires when necessary. Well took the tires off today to do the brakes they swore are 90% worn. Not even close and it's laughable they would say that and put it in writing on my receipt. I have pictures to prove it. I can say without a doubt I can probably do another 20k miles on the brakes I have. Shame on them for trying to trick me, most likely assuming I'm a clueless female. So beware of the upsell. Oh and they forgot check the alignment on the...
Read moreIf I could give Zero stars I would. I took my vehicle in because it needed an alignment adjustment. After dropping my vehicle off I was contacted by the manager to notify me that I needed new tires caused by alignment which I didn’t want but reluctantly agreed. After picking my car up and paying for new tires and alignment and driving it home it was clear that the alignment was not fixed. I had to bring the vehicle back in to fix the alignment again. Then contacted by the manager to tell me the vehicle needed new control arms? Or some other equipment and the job was going to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $1200 on top of what I had already paid. I politely declined and came in to pick up the vehicle and take it straight to the dealer who fixed the alignment problem and confirmed there were no other issues. But of course Mavis STILL charged me for the alignment work they could NEVER FIX and completely misdiagnosed. Save your time and wallet. Avoid this location...
