Extremely rude female manager. I wanted to buy happy birthday balloons for my one year old. We picked 3 styles and asked the cashier to fill them with Helium. The cashier did the 1st one. Then came the manager. She insisted that I should take the pre-filled ones. I said no, because they looked a little deflated. She then declared the stuff just filled them all in the morning. What a lier. I knew it wasn’t the case. So I said to her I don’t want the 2nd style any more. I’ll pick one that doesn’t have a pre-filled displayed sample. Would you guys fill it for me please? Guess what happened next? She grabbed the prefilled ballon and stabbed it broken in front of my kids! What a rude and violent behavior! I can’t believe this type of person can be at manager level or even an employee. Dollar Tree needs to do better at screening for their employees. Oh what’s interesting is that, to prove the manager is a lier, I did take a prefilled displayed ballon as my 3rd pick. Ten days has passed, the 1st and 2nd one are still holding up well, and the 3rd one went flat at day five. Don’t treat your customers like fools. A lot of them actually know how...
Read moreWorker was extremely rude to me and my toddler. We were looking around the toy section. My hands were full trying to hold my toddlers hand and push the cart. The employee was stocking with a cart of broken down boxes right in the middle of the aisle. I was looking around and taking my time so I was in no rush for her to move out of the way. Before I could even open my mouth to say excuse me, she rudely says something along the lines of “if you would have said excuse me, I would have gladly moved.” As she walks away, she says “this new generation has no manners.” After this encounter, I gathered my things and left because I didn’t feel welcome. It was extremely upsetting to me as anyone who knows me would know I am always polite to employees because I have worked in retail before. If it was me, I would have been apologizing to the customer for being in the way. This woman talks about manners but she had the opportunity to greet me and instead, chose hostility. You never know what someone is going through and your behavior can make or break...
Read moreI will never shop at Hatfield Dollar tree again. The register lady of Hatfield is unbelievably rude. I tried to use some coins to pay part of the purchase. The lady shouted repeatedly in a very rude tone, “We get coins from banks, not from customers. Do you understand you need to put the coins into rolls before using them? Do you understand?” She emphasized this is a store manager rule. I understand counting coins takes time, but this is not the reason to be so rude and refuse to accept the loose coins. I felt so insulted and left the store without buying anything. Later today, I went to the dollar tree in North Wales. I explained the situation to the lady in North Wales store, she gladly accepted the coins. Even when I offered to pay part of the purchase with card, she tried to comfort me: “No worries, we do...
