Burlington — Local services in Hilltown Township

Good evening Google Family. When I entered the store, I started selecting pants that I liked. It was a cool, crisp Fall like feeling today and I needed some pants to keep my legs warm, since I had on shorts. They had two pairs that I liked after trying them on in the fitting room. One pair was a cut out blue jeans style and the other pair was a black pants style. They fit me well and I was standing in line to purchase them. Before I could, though, I wanted to use the ladies rest room and it was clean and neat. Back to standing in the checkout line. There were 4 people ahead of me. I waited patiently. There was only one employee working the line. Later on, another lady employee came over to assist with the line. When it was my time to be helped, I gave the lady my items and she was about to ring them up, when I asked, may I keep the hangers? She said no and that they were low on hangers. I then said, well, since I cannot keep the hangers, I am not going to purchase the items and she said fine. I put them back where I had found them and left the store. I will never visit this location of Burlington's again.. Burlington is my favorite store now. I love their inexpensive, reasonable prices. I shop there for everything. My items and clothes for my great nephew. The Burlington Location in Deptford, NJ lets me keep my hangers and that is where I will be going tomorrow to shop. I used to go into this store (every day) as I am not exaggerating, one bit. The employees who have been there for a while will verify that this is indeed a FACT! Until a few months ago, when the nighttime manager for the second time was very rude to me! His unprofessionalism in the manner of how he treats customers is absolutely unethical, as well as uncalled for.

Since this occurred for the second time, I have not yet been back to that store nor will I go back until he is no longer there. It’s sad that people who work at businesses feel they have a right to speak down to customers. These people need to understand that without customers they wouldn’t have a job. He often has a look on his face as though someone peed in his oatmeal. It’s a shame that people who own these businesses can’t stop in every once in a while, (undercover) to clearly see how their businesses are being run. While the cat is away, the mice...

Once a lover and promoter of Burlington now we will never go back. Months ago, this store was perfect for my husband to find everything he needed. The dress shirts were exceptional. The suits were fantastic. He'd spend hundreds of dollars and found everything he needed. Unfortunately, over a time I saw a gradual change. There were less and less men's items. Those items were flawed in some obvious way. Stains, tears, rips, pulls, and everything that was unacceptable to wear. The women's section spilled into the men's section and now the men's section is almost non-existent. It's truly a huge disappointment. We always thought staff was more than helpful. The store and changing rooms were always in exceptional order. I myself will not be purchasing from the women's section because the quality has gone down as well.
