I’m not sure where to begin. We stumbled upon this because our pho restaurant was closed. We were so glad it was. We walked into a Spanish grocery store and said Um ok . Then there was a break in the wall that lead to a nice decorated restaurant with a Spanish flair motif . We started with homemade chips and homemade guacamole. That was great . Then we ordered our meal . The server.. she was so nice and friendly . As we waited for the food we were looking at all the pictures and other authentic items hung throughout the restaurant.. pretty cool stuff . Then the food came. The shrimp enchilada was crazy good. We also ordered chicken tostados and a shrimp burrito. This was a total Suprise. The food was ridiculously good. When I say that the good food hides in the hole in the wall restaurants I’m not kidding . This is the best Mexican I’ve had anywhere ..can’t wait to come back and try more food

Great food, the best Mexican dishes I have had in many years. The meal started with fresh chips with beans that we couldn't stop munching. I ordered molcajete mixto (not a regular menu item) and it was fantastic! My daughter got a lengua burrito and she said it was terrific. We also had agua fresca and finished off the meal with tres leches. Everything was top notch. Prices were reasonable and the portion size was just right for a big eater like me. We will be going back soon and bringing friends with us. Highly recommended. They also have a store attached that carried a lot of hard to find Mexican style meal ingredients and other goods. The shop/restaurant combo reminded me of Cracker Barrel. 🤓 The decor is festive!

Everytime I come here it’s always GREAT food and service, the people that run the restaurant are so so nice and welcoming. I’ve lived in Lansdale, North Wales, Telford, Souderton, and now Hatfield ...this legit hands-down is the best Mexican restaurant extremely authentic for this area, i’ve gone to multiple Mexican restaurants in those areas and they are good but not as good as San Antonio’s!! The Menudo taste like I’m back in El Paso, TX !!! I have been searching for that authentic Menudo taste and finally found it and Enchiladas are delicious!!

I had been coming in to eat at least once a week and didn't have a bad experience until today. To be fair, the food is usually good and reasonably priced. Today I ordered a fried tilapia and it tasted a little spoiled. No big deal, I know it happens. What I did not appreciate is how it was handled. I returned my food and asked to have a torta instead. I'd say a 1/4 of my fish was eaten because my husband tried it to make sure it wasn't just me. At the end of the meal I was charged full price for food that was spoiled and I did not eat!!! I asked the server if the owner was in and she was. Very respectfully I asked to see her and explained the situation and that i thought it would even be fair to maybe charge half. She said that she cannot be giving food away for free simply because I didn't like it. She tried the food and didn't taste spoiled to her. I thanked her for her time and told her I would never return and that I didn't believe $15 was worth loosing a regular customer. She didn't seem to care. Having served for 15 years, I know people take advantage at restaurants but this was not the case. A little sympathy and honest apology would have been better received than acting like I was making stuff up. So if you try it and don't like it, don't bother complaining. Simply...

I wouldn't consider this 'Authentic Mexican' fare made w/ traditional Mexican flavors. The food was tastless. Cheapest seasonings. Everything was white onions, hot chillies, shredded lettuce. No Cilantro, lime juice, chopped Green Onion, Cheddar Cheese, or Tommatilloes. Food wasn't made to order cause when I asked if they made a mild version of some dishes the waitress said "No". Guess they didn't know how to remove the 'heat' from chilli peppers like the rest of us? Plus, they're really skimpy w/ the cheese, and sour cream. Even though it was clean enough, well lit, & service was fast. The ladies room trash can lid needs to be replaced so it remains closed for vector control, and dining benches needed a thorough wipe down. Our server seemed frustrated whenever I had questions about the menu, a's it was in Spanish w/ brief at best English translation's for ea. Dish. They won't get our business. It's cool for takeout if your craving "Mexican" fastfood, or just a change like we did. However, if you want your Mexican w/ heart & soul cooked in it you'll be...
