Such a sad day for me on Sunday, April 13, 2025. I made it to Hobbs and decided to try this place out. I prefer to put in my orders online and pick them up because I have major anxiety around groups of people I don’t know. So I called this dispensary and asked if it was okay if I put in my order Saturday, April 12th but pick it up Sunday April 13th. The person on the phone was nice and said of course I could. I ordered from their site and saw two strains I love for a really good price and they didn’t indicate it was shake or extremely dry flower on the site so I figured it was their tier 3 in-house flower and that’s why it was low cost.
I got there at 8:15 AM and there were 3 people plus the two girls working. It was a bit much for me, so when she called my name I was relieved. And then she says “We cancelled your order from last night, but it’s okay we can still get it together.” I also ordered two cartridges online that morning using Dutchie Pay. They start pulling the flower and it’s in literal ziplock baggies…like if I were buying illegally. Red flag. They get my order pulled and then she hands it off to the cashier who rings it up as one large charge. I explain they were separate orders and one was paid for using dutchie pay. She said she accidentally rang them all up and charged them to Dutchie Pay. I told them there wasn’t a pending charge on my account yet from dutchie pay. This ensues a 45 minute back and forth battle of sorts, until they finally say my card wasn’t charged. I ended up having to pay with cash and my debit card. Then I left a $10 tip because I for some reason felt bad for them having to go through all that. I walk to my car where my dog has been waiting for 45 minutes (I was just popping in for a pick up order) and she had already been in the car for a long time, we were headed to the dog park next, and I was in there so long my dog pee’d on my driver’s side seat when she finally saw me come out. I was bothered to say the least. We go back to the dog park and I look at the bus and I’m like “What in the eff is this?” It is THE DRIEST BATCH OF SMALL BUDS I HAVE EVER GOTTEN FROM A DISPENSARY! I would have gladly paid more for higher quality bud as this is my month’s supply, but no where on the website did it say “small buds” or “low tier” or anything to disclose that it was not good quality.
But here’s the best part! I just woke up to my bank account getting hit with a $196 charge from the dispensary this morning, Tuesday, April 15, 2025. This is the charge for the whole order, which they already collected in a combo of cash and debit card from me on the spot on Sunday. This was a TERRIBLE experience and this is probably one of the only dispensaries in Hobbs I hadn’t been to yet. Giving two stars because the bud tenders tried...
Read moreHoly cow... my absolute worst experience in a dispensary by far... I dared to ask a question about the pricing of their products. I'll elaborate: They have two different strains of shatter manufactured by the same company. 1 is 30$, and the other is 40$. I asked why this was. I was told by the assistant manager Vivianna(sorry if I misspelled), that according to her training it was because one had a higher amount of thc. This puzzled me a bit, because this was not the case with any other brand of product in their store... or any other dispensary I've been in when it came to concentrates. Sometimes there are tiers for higher qualities of flower, but that's not based on the thc level typically. When I tried pointing this out she cut me off and said, "I don't understand why we're going back and forth here." At that point I just told her, "we're not, you win." She then proceeded to stand in the doorway and glare at me like I had done something to actually offend her until I had completed my purchase and left. I would have given at least 2 stars, because the budtender helping me was kind and obviously trying to make the situation less awkward, but wait! There's more lol. I applied to work here a couple of months ago, and I called back to check in on the status 2 times within 2 weeks of my interview. Fast forward to them opening the store. I called the hiring manager (Mrs. Hyman) and was told, oh wow, did you not receive anything? Those should have gone out. Just all around disappointed with management, and how awkward I've felt every time I interact with these guys. I hope this review helps and they are able to see that you can't treat people badly, and recorrect how they operate.
PS: They offer you a preroll for a 5 star review on Google. They require you to show the 5 star review to redeem the preroll. This is highly against Google's review policy, and makes the other 5 star reviews they've received questionable at...
Read moreAnother shop out of Colorado with overpriced flower. Visited them in Durango and their prices were a bit high. 60$+ for rosin, 150$+ an oz for flower. Visited the Hobbs location and there wasn't any rosin to compare, but the flower was essentially the same caliber. Maybe I'm just jaded by all of the dispensaries, but there are better prices for the same quality/suppliers(cannabis wholesale companies) in town. I won't name any, but there are 4 that immediately come to mind, and if you've shopped around Hobbs, you likely know which ones they are. My cousin applied for a job there and she said that they didn't even give her a text to let her know they'd already hired everyone to work there as well. She called and messaged back for a followup and never received anything back. I'm hearing similar perspectives from friends and co-workers. We'll see what happens to another store trying to make it in Hobbs lol. Could just be a management thing with my...
