I will review again. Well again needed help loading because I have broken discs in my back. Went to cashier at Pro desk area and asked for help loading 2 sheets of drywall. They said sure I will get you someone. Waited around for a few minutes then went to van to load up. Told cashier I am going to load the small things I will meet them outside. Loaded small stuff. Waited waited waited asked again for help. Went back outside and waited in the sweltering heat. Finally just took the chance and loaded it myself AGAIN SECOND TIME NOW. So you take away cashiers and have self serve. Now self loading also? Home Depot is on a steady decline in my book. Canât find staff inside the store and canât find help outside the store. I think you need to make it NO PERSONAL CELL PHONES WHILE ON THE CLOCK. On my way out found my help he was under a tree on his phone relaxing. New photos of the screws they gave me. Thank God I am not far away. I am sure the home owner wonât mind the different colors. I guess we waste everyoneâs time now going through every single item now. Who checks these orders online? I guess nobody since they keep getting my orders wrong. Maybe they are being vindictive now. Edit: months have gone by now and still exactly the same. Maybe someone from corporate should just show up. Without a notice. Sit out in the parking lot for a few before going into the store. Go inside and try to find someone to help you. Not the paint department because thereâs always someone there. Stop someone for help. Then see if they walk you there or just point or better yet look on their phone then tell you where itâs at. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE????? Pretty sure without us youâre nothing. I have now started using my local Ace Hardware and Lowes. Will be discontinuing my loyalty...

Bought a LG washer and steam dryer set and wanted to stack them....but unless we bought the stacking adapter with them we were told they were not able to do with our delivery guys even if I bought the adapters somewhere else in time.. Of course the LG adapter were 4 weeks or so back ordered. So we chose not to wait and just get the washer and dryer......waited 2 weeks for delivery ( in the mean time picked up the LG stacking adapter right at best buy in gulf view mall). Today March 2nd they are delivered ( i am on a work trip so my wife handled being there for the install.) The installers did not stack them and even if they would have they didn't have long enough hoses...ok fair, but frustrating. Then later today my son texts me pictures because I wanted to see the set to which I noticed and my son verifief....they didn't hook up the water line to the dryer and didn't leave the hoses kit I paid for either. So I call the store , and they apologize...then tell me it will be a week and a half. ( the 11th) till the delivery guy can drop off my hose and hook it up. I definitely got upset. I waited two weeks and they were going to make me wait 2 more? It's a hose! Drop by and hook the darn thing up!. They said they are busy on routes and I had to wait. Heck they could drive it to my house in 5 min. No mention of some form of compensation for making me wait more weeks. No attempt at resolution at all which was so frustrating being it's their error! I asked the hose to be credited back to my card and I'll do it myself....plus figure how I'll lift the darn dryer up. Thanks home depot. ...
   Read moreWell, I gave two stars because I was a to go in and pick something off shelf and go to self service lane and pay. I cannot express how much it bothers me that the people that work their know almost nothing about what they carry, or home improvement whatsover. Dont get me wrong some of them do and will go out of their way to help. THESE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY FEW AND VERY FAR BETWEEN. IT wasn't always like this. I literally asked a woman in light department for a light that I could hang on the ceiling and plug into the wall and she kept pointing at a rack of wiring harnesses saying like those? The more I said no, a light, a lamp, a light source like them put that I can plug into a wall socket. (Pointing to display of hanging lights) I finally had to pull up an example from their own website and she just lost it and almost ran from me to get another employee to help,he at least knew what I meant but didn't know if they had that sort of thing but promised to help me look when he done with another customer. I waited 10 minutes and decided to just order it from their website,what I should have done from beginning. With that I paid for my other item and left. I don't know what these stores are coming too but I see why online ordering is becoming the norm. not just Home Depot but everywhere, these same people who don't bother learning their job or know their stuff, but don't like people are gonna be the first ones wondering and crying why the stores are gonna close one day and it will all be online shopping...ok off my soap ox sorry...
