Checkers — Restaurant in Florida

Ordered the current $4 meal special . There were 2 middle aged overweight guys running the show, one working the drive thru window and the other supposedly the MOD, another young guy was taking the orders from the other two. None of them seemed to know what was going on... total chaos and disorganized ! I sat at the window for 10 mins waiting- still no food . No one said anything to me. I had to ask what was the holdup, they kept walking away from the window. Finally the younger guy said it was the apple pie, that none of them had been cooked yet. I was then told I needed to pull around to the other side of the bldg to wait, so I did. I continued to wait at least another 10 mins while all 3 guys inside were running around like crazy yet my order still wasn't ready. Only a hamburger, fries and the apple pie- pretty simple! I called the young guy over to my window to ask him do not bother with the apple pie and just give me my order. He said he would comp me with an extra order of fries for the inconvenience. After waiting all this time they ended up giving my order to the car that had been behind me before they made me move around to the other side of the building. I asked the young guy where was my food and he said oh they made a mistake and gave it to the woman at the other window and they had to start all over again on my order!! The so-called manager disappeared, never did come to apologize to me or offered to comp me for anything after all that. Sitting there all that time in my car observing the chaos I could see how filthy the place was inside. So gross. Health department needs to be there ASAP. How those guys are working there I'm clueless, none of them are qualified to be in that business. I could hear them arguing with each other because they were all screwing up so badly on the orders. They also caused me to be late for work by 25 mins. Place is a joke. First let me tell you how long it took to get my order when ordering from the window today at 3:50 pm on 4/29/2024 and the experience I went through today at this location that I have been coming to for the past 10 years. I took them 5 mins to take my order since they were busy serving drive thru customers. Once I placed an 26 dollar order. 2 double cheese burgers 2 loaded fries, a shake and a cheese cake sundae. They gave me my cold items first while its 85 outside and as I was waiting for them to serve car that was coming in I watched the big man yell at a customer, I watched and herd the big lady having a fit while working. While I was waiting on my order which took 8 mins to get after ordering my sundae and shake were melting all over the ground. Once I got my order from the skinny guy he gave me extra food so I went and tapped on the window and the gave who gave me my food opened the window with an attuited and I explained to him you gave me extra food. He was like no I put in two burgers in the bag, but I had 3 sandwiches. He went through my bag and said there i fixed it and shut the window in my face. I will be calling business corporate and let them know my experience. Next time I will take a with my hidden camera to have proof corporate. If you're so mad about your job then find a new one. The food is mediocre but that's kind of what you expect from checkers. I'm the mother cruncher is really good but I wish they would have named it something else. I hate saying that every time I order because my wife always eats one of those. But if you go to checkers and I'm sure you do it's the same as it always has been. Now the strawberry swirl with vanilla or the regular strawberry or regular vanilla ice cream for a dollar and a cup is a good deal you get a fair size like milkshake cup of it for a buck so you can't beat that and it's really good too! But they only have one lane open the other is an order ahead fast just pick up Lane so if you don't order ahead? You have to go into the far Lane and it's usually fairly packed. And check your order lately they've been forgetting just about everything you could imagine hamburger they forgot that all right the chicken sandwich they forgot that and the thing is you have so many people waiting in line you hate to sit there and go through the bag to make sure it's in there and you can even ask the person did you check it to make sure oh yeah everything's in there well when you get home no everything is not in there. They will replace it when you call but then you have to drive all the way back to checkers and getting...
