Honestly- I changed my 5 star to a 2 star- and I hope they get their facts right- I was with my fiance and two children, my 4 year old had grabbed a little Lego kit and I didnt realize it until I went to self check out to pay, and I went to scan it and the toy had no bar code, so after I paid for my things I walked to the aisle where I thought the toy was grabbed from, and a group of 3 or 4 cashiers, and customers stood there staring at me talking with themselves and I suddenly hear "What is the point of stealing" or something of those lines. So I spoke up, and said I was not stealing the toy, I was trying to find where it belonged... So then I walked to customer service to hand the woman the toy, and she said just to keep it anyway. I was so angry and infuriated, not one of the employees confronted what I needed or anything, just wrongfully accused. When I went to ask the man who was at the self check out where I would find the toy, he walked away so I said nevermind, and I looked myself... It makes me sad that I had to change my review of this store because if you have kids, and they are like a clepto better off going else where. IMO.///// I have never had a bad experience at this WD. Except when there was a promo 4 for $5 of a drink, the cashier was too lazy to ring it up the PROPER way, so I ended up getting charged over $7 in the end for the dang drinks. I wasn't going to make a fuss to customer service about a few dollars /change. I just wish the employee would have done her job correctly instesd of telling me "she doesn't see" the deal I was talking about because it was not in the news paper ad. After sending another employee to go look where I grabbed them from, they finally said yes it was 4 for $5. Always great customer service from Kenny, I could not be more pleased with the way he handles things. But this location is probably one...
Read moreAs much as I usually like WinnDixie's this one gets a 3 star. I'll explain. It's mostly the location, but the pharmacy here has on more than one occasion, been odd, either not following the prescription 100% (I should be getting 3 months supplies but instead they do it 1 month, unless I call and request it myself? Because the website doesn't do it? My other WinnDixie pharmacies never had this issue. However, it looks like someone else has been running it now, and they do follow my prescription, so that's not directly affecting my star rating. What is however, is the location. It's really a bad location. Today going there, I counted at least ~9 homeless just all over the parking lot. It's become so bad I despise coming here. Then when you're in the store, you have your share of "characters", like today, one man took his mask off and threw his bag of ice on the floor then kicked it. What did staff do? Absolutely nothing, they just smiled and allowed it to happen, even after slamming his ice bag on the self check out register, possibly damaging the scale.
If you are in this area and want a good WinnDixie experience, just go down the street to Moog, it's a FAR better store. Friendlier staff, and not as many homeless harassing you (usually just 1 and he's actually a nice guy). The 9 at the location this review is for though, will flat out harass you, and the staff do nothing to get rid of them for a better...
Read moreDo not go to this location for your COVID-19 vaccine pharmacist âJohnâ does not change his gloves in between administering covid vaccines or filling prescriptions. When I requested for him to change his gloves, he disappeared out of my view and came back a few minutes later saying it takes a while to change gloves. He then went on to tell me he did not have to change his gloves between patients that all he had to do was spray them with alcohol. However per the Florida Heath department and recommend CDC regulations: If gloves are worn when administering intramuscular or subcutaneous vaccines, they should also be changed with each patient in addition to performing hand hygiene. Gloves are not to washed and reused âsprayed down with alcoholâ. The best part is I contacted corporate to notify them of the incident and their response was just to have the pharmacist âJohnâ call me and apologize. He doesnât care, if he did he would followed the proper procedures in the first place and would not have tried to tell me that he didnât have to change his gloves.
He is not going to change his poor hygiene methods and will continue to put the public at risk of other infectious disease and bacteriaâs such Hepatitis, staph infection, etc..
Called the Florida health department and their response was go on our website and write complaint. By the time they read it he will have put more people lifeâs...
