I RARELY give reviews, unless exceptional experience OR the WORST.
Wish I could give '0' or less!
Had dinner with family few nights ago, whilst visiting from out of state. No comment on the food, but to the owner - if you don't possess customer centricity skills, and people strengths, you're in the wrong business!
Added to that, have the decency and courtesy to NOT take up a full table for yourself, and sit between customers, literally side to side and SMOKE off the top of your lungs, especially with traditional cigarettes!
There's a reason smoking is prohibited within "closed environments", and most in fact even on the outside of buildings today! Worse yet, when you sat right next to us and lit your cigarette from the second of two packs you had on that table, (practically telling clients the table is 'taken') you saw how my husband turned around and looked at you, you saw how we immediately stood up as we were STARTING our meal, hurried and gathered our food to leave immediately, disrupted bc of all the smoke we were inhaling, not to mention Asma related individuals present, and rushed out, and YOU COULDN'T CARE LESS! Not even a bid "Goodnight, Thank-you", NOTHING! Just kept puffing and blowing!
Your food may be decent to some, but what allows you to stay in business is that majority asks 'to-go'. Still, that doesn't give you the right to disrupt meals and quality time, which is so distasteful, the momentum is lost, hardly anyone wants to re-heat and continue eating in the hotel room, and our very hard earned $$$ wasted! On the contrary, you should be boosting ambiance and quality service for your customers!
Even if it weren't LAW, goodness, have the least consideration and mindfulness; which btw, are minimum requirements in Customer Service. How can you choose to 'serve', but then turn around and be so disengaged? And believe me, that's an understatement of what I would really like to call you! But unlike you, I have to honor my own...
Read moreI've never bought a meal from a food truck before, but, since I was in a hurry and this place was in the same parking lot that I was already in, I thought I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
I kept it simple and ordered gyros for everyone, but I wish I'd taken the time to check out the entire menu before I ordered because it's pretty extensive... still, I didn't know just how GOOD the food would be! Next time - and there WILL be a next time - I'll order some variety so we can try something new.
The food was so tasty! Fresh beef, everything was made in house (right in front of me), even the meat for three gyros is on those rotisserie things and sliced fresh. The owners are Greek, and the accent is a little hard to understand, but they are very friendly, and the service is a quick as it can be with them making everything to order. The truck and serving counter are clean and neat, and they've set up a nice, covered seating area with about 6 tables for for customers, so you have the option of eating there, which is great for tourists!
The prices are about what you'd pay if you went to one of those chain breakfast/ lunch restaurants (around $10.00 - $ 15.00 per platter), though they have less expensive snack items. The thing is, your food wouldn't taste nearly as good at a café as this does, and it certainly wouldn't be as fresh!
I definitely recommend The Greeks for lunch or dinner! I know I'll be ordering from them...
Read more“Our gyro is sliced per order and straight from the grill, thus always hot.” Words of the owner = B.S.
If their gyros were truly made per order then they shouldn’t have served the lamb from a stainless steel pan sitting behind the counter. No love. It was cold and there not very much of it. The pita wasn’t warmed on the grill but served straight outta a a plastic bag. No love. The fries in the gyro were cold and soggy. Again, No love. There was one tomato and hardly enough tzatziki to cover two bites of the sandwich. No love. $12 for a food truck gyro? Those sandwiches should have had a little weight for that price. They couldn’t even fill that pita out with some those old fries. You could count the quarter size pieces of meat on one hand. One would expect the counter guy cook to carve lamb fresh off the spits behind him. Not the case. He put it together like he could care less if we return. And we won’t. Was made without love and will never be made for my...
