(( I am temporarilly knocking the review down from four stars down to one, following the owner's bizzare response that this was "phenomenal to hear". Either they did not read the review or it was a bot simply responding to stars))
I loved this location but can no longer come here after today. I had a tire blowout on the road 15 minutes after leaving jiffy Lube, which likely had nothing to do with the employees who worked on my car.
My wife demanded that I go to the location, which clearly would not do anyone any good, since the men here are simply employees doing their job, and even if the blowout was related to the service could not provide a resolution.
As expected the only thing accomplished by this second visit was that it got the employees upset about the posibility of an Email being sent to the corporate office, which then led to one young man screaming at me as I put my car into reverse in preparation to leave, pulling my attention away from the person walking near my vehicle.
I saw the lady crossing the street behind me as i rolled back a inch, with my foot still on the brake. My sensors had began beeping, when I heard yelling coming from in front of me.
When the gentleman came out yelling I thought he was telling me I had forgotten something, but no. He had interpreted two inches of slow rolling as trying to run the lady down who was walking towards my car.
While this is commendable, to yell from the front of a driver to watch out for something behind them creates a massive distraction, that could have been the one factor in an accident taking place.
I got out of the car to speak with him to make it clear I was looking and and that his loud distraction from the opposite direction was the the one thing diverting my attention, but he would not make eye contact.
I said to the gentlleman who yelled at me that I was sorry that he thought I was not paying attention, since at that point I just needed to leave, with nothing productive coming from trying to speak. Another gentleman sitting in the corner who worked there said I should apologize to the lady and not the employee, even though this employee hadnt seen what led to the employees outburst from the distance and vantage point he was sitting, and on that note I left after saying "ok" knowing there was no point in the conversation going any further.
Obviously there was no point even going there, as if anything could be done.
I had no desire to even go to the Jiffy Lube over the tire blow out, and like I said once word got out about me being there about the tire issue how could any of them possibly be in a good mood.
I have always liked this location, but yeah, there was no reason to go here following the blow out, as it would solve absolutely nothing and just ruin peoples days.
These are good guys and making this trip to please my wife was pointless.
(Would love to see a video of me rolling back an inch or two that resulted in the employee coming out to yell at me though.)
Only had to dock the star because the employee was unable to have a conversation after yelling at me.
I am sorry if this negatively impacted...
Read moreAt present, I can not recommend. My car was essentially taken from me while I requested pricing on simple oil change options. I waited 20 minutes or more while they just started doing things to my vehicle. The other customers waiting were told of multiple additional things that needed to be addressed, as I waited, adding significant costs for them. That's fine if legitimate, but since my car was already being worked on and I hadn't asked for any services yet, I had a feeling the same was going to happen to me. So before I got to that point, I asked a service person why I had not seen any pricing but you're working on my car. He explained to me that a base-level oil change on an older Toyota sedan was going to cost about $90 to $100..
I pointed out that they took my car and didn't tell me anything about price, and I wasn't going to pay for anything until I know what the prices are, and I wanted my car back. Because he already started it, they had changed the oil and change the filter - which was new and didn't need changing. He said, "Well you get a free oil change!" and turned around and walked away. So now I've got an oil change. Great... I have a new filter I didn't need, yet I have no idea if my tires were pressurized. I have no sticker telling me when my next change should be and I'm pretty annoyed about it. I'd be happy to talk to the owner about...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience! The Technicians other than the one in training(Riley) need to be fired! Came in to have oil change on my work van. Explained I would be paying for it upon completion of service , no billing needed. Two technicians were on their phones doing nothing. Riley asked another older gentleman(Jeff) what time would be he said 45 mins and theyâll get you squared away. I agreed and went to grab a bite to eat. Get phone call 25mins later saying come get your van. The technicians left, no one can drain oil. I asked, how is that possible. They just said they canât do an oil change. Long story short the two technicians saw it was a work van and didnât feel like doing the work so they made up excuse and left. This was about 2pm. I asked Riley who the manager was he said it was one of the technicians that left. I asked to speak to Jeff and explained my frustrations. I asked if a manager was currently on duty he stated no. Although later I found out he is in fact the new store manager. I called back at 3pm to see how long of wait an oil change was for today(they didnât no it was myself) and guess what no wait! Technicians were there with no waiting. I hope if Jeff wants continued business and support from the community he first fires those piss poor...
