We arrived at around 8pm tonight, Saturday May 18th. There was a line of about 3 parties before us. There are two registers in this place to order from. The person ordering was taking a hot minute, and an older gentleman in a red polo, I'm assuming the manager, as well as a younger girl who was answering the phone (not at this time) stared at us while we stood in line and waited. We decided it was quicker to phone in our dine in order, to which the young blonde promptly answered the phone. She was confused and asked the manager what to do when we told her we were eating in. When we paid and chose a table, it was extremely unlevel. Even the bartender mentioned that the restaurant was "due for an upgrade". We moved to a less wobbly table and my girlfriend shortly thereafter received her burger. I, on the otherhand, waited a good solid 10 minutes before receiving mine. 2 more things: We paid a premium price for a BURGER. Burgers we ordered medium rare and were delivered done. Also, we paid $15 each for the sandwich, and as this place is a la carte, we paid $6 for a single serving of one 1/2 of a sweet potato in the form of fries. Literally not a whole potatoes worth of fries for $6. I don't normally leave reviews, as they taint the overall rating of a company and I don't feel the need to take the time to. But if I'm paying premium price to eat a simple meal, I'd appreciate an above sub-par experience. From the waiting, to the wobbly table, to the untimed delivery, to the overpriced menu, I won't...
Read moreI wanted to take some time to write this review because its very obvious to me that the owner(s) of this company take quality seriously as I've never been dissapointed a single time I've eaten at this establishment. The first thing I want to mention is the quality of the ingredients that go into your products. Simply outstanding, when I order anything on the menu it's taste meets or exceeds my expectation, the onion straws, any of your wide veriety of condiments, the cheeses, all of it is very apparently hand selected for taste by a person who enjoys these foods. In a world where the cheapest option is selcted over quality, it's very refreshing to have an experience where, not only are the ingredients quality, but the menu options are currated by people who know what a quality burger should taste, smell, look and feel like. My only critique: there are many people, such as myself, out there who vastly prefer melted shreded cheese blends over cheese sauces/fondues for the loaded option on tots, fries and waffle fries. An added option for this to your existing menu would be a welcome change. Other wise, keep doing what you are doing. I have recommended your chain to many people when the topic of a good burger comes up and will continue to do so. Remember, money will come when you are doing things right and you cannot buy a good reputation so stay the course with your business model as you are on the...
Read moreI had heard such good things about Town Hall Burger and today I was really craving a good burger. I don't eat or crave burgers very often so I thought why not try the Town Hall Burger and Beer. So I ordered my burger and couldn't wait to get it home. Opened the box and it looked so good. Took a bite and there was not meat. Well it was cut in half so I thought okay maybe the beef is on the other half. I looked - no beef. Went to Town Hall's Burger website and reread the menu. Keep in mind this is the first time I ordered from them. My burger is the very first burger listed under gourmet burgers. After really reading the menu I realize that it was a grilled cheese and not a burger. So I called Town Hall and told them my story and asked why the grill cheese is the very first option of gourmet burgers if it is not a burger. The young man I was talking to was very nice but he said I don't really have a good explanation for that. So I am just saying if you want a burger don't choose the 6 cheese option under burgers. It is not a burger it is a grilled cheese. I know it if my mistake thinking it was a burger but still I really wanted a burger. Called my sister and she thought this was hilarious. Maybe you will too.
On a better note I did order the truffle fries and they were delicious and I would give them a five...
