We did not dine in. I'll start with the positives. Online ordering was easy and the food was ready when we arrived. The pizza was good and we ordered garlic on the pizza and it tasted very good. Now the mix of good and bad. We also ordered 4 entrees; 2 fettuccini alfredo meals, we paid extra for one to have meatballs and they charged us but we did not get the meatballs (way too far to drive back for 3 meatballs but, I hate paying for something I didn't get). The Alfredo dishes were very good in amount and taste. We also got a chicken parmigiana over pasta. My biggest issue is they do not put enough sauce on it. I don't care for a lot of sauce but this just wasn't enough. It was literally the least amount of sauce I've ever received on a parmigiana dish anywhere. So due to the lack of sauce there was also a lack of flavor. What it comes down to is if you want enough sauce, you have to pay for extra sauce and that's just greedy and ridiculous. The chicken was good. The last entree was the ziti. Again, the sauce was definitely lacking in amount but what was there was good. All the meals came with "garlic" bread. They should have just called it buttered bread because that's all it was. We also ordered a chicken parmigiana sandwich with a side of onion rings. The sandwich was ok. Would have been good with better bread but it's just a plain roll that you can buy at Food Lion. The onion rings were hard. Probably over fried but three of them were inedible and the last one was also overcooked but could be eaten and it just lacked any flavor. Positive: The price for an XL pizza, 4 entrees and a sandwich was definitely fair. The amount of food was also very good for the price. Overall: I will travel for good food, this is not worth the trip. From the lack of the meatballs that we paid for, to the lack of enough sauce to actually taste it, the overcooked onion rings, it's not...

John, are you guys hurting for money or something? Why would you be grubby about remaking 2 pies you messed up?
You can't make 1 customer whole after you made a mistake?
Its makes zero business sense that YOU cooked up pizza wrong and blamed me for being mad about it and being ignored. Then below, you vengefully post my mad responses and leave out the angry things said to me over the phone by you guys for a full on blast of 10 hateful minutes.
I gave you multiple chances to make it right and you just absolutely made excuses & refused.
Just how am I the bad guy here? -Dennis
Old: I bought 2 pies that ended up costing me $62+ (2 XL, tax, generous tip) and the pizzas were inedible. Just cheese and bread. Went through their immediate email with a service to dispute the order. Didn't get back for days. I was frustrated, left some bad reviews which did get attention. The resulting email wanted proof I said I had (picture). They called an harassed on the phone for 10m. Made up words to be offended over I never said. Blamed me, made no offer until I asked after 8m if the point of the call was to make me an offer. Offer was a meager 10% off the next order. They simply would not take ownership of making a bad product, of not following up in a timely manner, and not wanting to make it right by sending out 2 correct pies I ordered. They eventually did admit the picture was not of a pizza they would want to send to customers. Long story short, not owning, not compensating adequately, mean and defensive phone call, just an all around unpleasant experience I lost sleep over being accused of things I didn't say. Why can't they just make it right like any other place would? I did not like any aspect of this...
Read moreFirst off, we only had take out pizza, so this review is limited to just that experience and not the food in general.
The place had a nice, vibrant atmosphere and the girl behind the counter could not have been nicer or more pleasant. We saw so many great reviews and my family is missing NYC quality pizza, so we thought we had our comfort food close to our new home.
After picking up our plain pie and driving home, about 15 minutes later, we opened the box and saw, what looked to be a decent pizza, but looks were certainly deceiving. The crust had a cardboard like texture and was very dry. I prefer a more acidic pizza sauce and Manhattan Pizza delivered on that, but the flavor was very lacking. The cheese did not seem to be a good quality either, so the 3 primary components of the pizza were a miss. I'd actually rate the pizza at, or slightly below, the common national pizza chain pizzas and I'll have to rotate a few of the other, better local places as our "go-to" until we find one that's great.
At some point in the future, we'll try a menu item or two and adjust accordingly, if needed. It seems many people are happy with the place, but I cannot see...
