Update: 02/04/2022 I was contacted a few minutes after my initial review by the owner with an apology. As well as inviting us to have chance to come back for a real experience. I really appreciate it and i am Looking forward for next time and hopefully it goes smoothly. Will be updating with me new experience soon.

I came here Saturday, April 2nd, for my nephews birthday. From the reviews, I was expecting to be 100% satisfied with the experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

I booked a 60-minute session for three guests in the Free Roam Arena. There were many troubleshooting issues during our session. I recorded the time on my Iphones stopwatch, which was over 30 minutes of troubleshooting. The headsets for the 2 of us died, and we had to wait for them to set everything up again.

Also, there were issues such as the controllers not working, the screens were just black, and players getting disconnected. This happened to all three guests back to back.

Another big issue was that everything was uncalibrated, so we kept bumping into walls and each other. This caused a lot of issues during the gameplay, so we weren’t able to play.

We would request games, and they told us that they didn’t work at the moment. There was a game we chose in which we were stuck in an elevator and couldn’t get out. We kept requesting help, but it took over 5 minutes for someone to pay attention and help us. We were only able to play one game successfully, which was at the end of our 60-minute session.

The staff was unprofessional. They were talking amongst themselves. They ignored us when we pointed out the issues. Like I said before, It took them a while for them to answer us. It seemed like there was training going on for new staff members. I say this because no one knew what to do during our issues and kept asking just one staff member for answers.

I was expecting them to give us extra time for all the inconveniences. But they told us they couldn’t since they had another birthday party coming in. Which I understand. I insisted on a free 30-minute session for the next visit since that’s the time we lost from our 60-minute session, due to their troubleshooting issues. They only gave us the bare minimum of a 15% off. This was very upsetting because I drove over 2 hours for my nephew and his friend to have a good time on his special day, and this was not the case. I have been here before to play VR and I have not had issues like this until now. When I went for half an hour, which costs $30, the entire time I played my controllers were having issues such as the track pads not functioning correctly/getting sticky, the side buttons not registering their inputs, and the tracking of the controllers constantly being in locations they should not be. At the halfway mark I asked one of the attendants to swap out one of my controllers for another, but on the issues still persisted, which made the games unplayable in the end. When I brought up my problems to another attendant when my time finished, it felt like he wrote off all of my issues. For the buttons he said they were fine and that there has not been any issues in the past, chalking it up to a learning curve. For the tracking issue he cited the singular tracker for the entirety of your body's tracking, which I can slightly believe, though if there is only one you should point it out to your users so that they can orient themselves properly. I also noted that on the TV there was an error message pertaining to the tracking module, but he said that it would not bring up problems. The entire exchange between me and the attendant felt disingenuous, scripted, and unhelpful. We just recently had our son’s 7th birthday here, and I have to say their staff/service is absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond for us and were extremely helpful! We brought in balloon bouquets and with the wind they got tangled together the staff helped try to untangle them for us and also made sure we had everything we needed. They allowed us to come in a few minutes early to set up as well and were very attentive to the kids while they were playing. It was a great time for not only the kids but the adults as well!
