This review is for the Booskerdoo in Holmdel location located at Bell Works. I've been to so many fancy expensive places for coffee/chai tea, that when I find a place that can give me great hot and cold beverages with seating at reasonable prices, I said, "sign me up!" I've been to many of the Booskerdoo locations and they're all fantastic. The baristas here at the Holmdel location are great. We have Dani the manager, Chris, Murphy and Q (on the days I go) manning the stations and whipping up great hot and cold beverages. You can also purchase some baked goods such as giant cookies, hand pies, etc to go with your beverages. I am all about the espresso drinks but I've also had most of their teas too. It's a matter of preference. I love coffee and my colleagues love their chai teas. We're happy because of the simple reason that they cater to all of us. Bright, clean and great place to go during "coffee break" time or just to chill for lunch. They are limited in hours on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. I'm monitoring a star only because they've changed their size in cup from 12 oz to 10 oz and forgot to tell us until I inquired. They still charge the same price and it's they're way if cutting back without extra increase to the customers, I was told. I understand but I just wished I had known ahead of time. As of this writing, February 2020, they've also stopped their $0.50 pastry Tuesday with your purchase of a coffee promotion. They usually go away for a bit and then come back with...
Read moreAlways empty. Like the other Bell Works food court vendors, it is mega expensive with a tasteless pre-fabricated breakfast sandwich running $5.50. Coffee is on the bitter side to my taste. Pastry prices are outrageous, they're ok but they sit there all week, unbought - Dunkin' Donuts is twice the product for less and is the choice for meetings. And it's a real long walk for building tenants to get at this coffee. Example. If you are on the 5th floor iCIMS area , you've got a slow elevator to the ground floor then a 1/4 mile walk to Booskerdoo, 1/4 mile back and up the elevator again. At least 15 minutes at a brisk pace. 20 if the slow millenial staff has 3 or more customers. Since all the offices have coffee service courtesy of the building, many Keurigs and kettles plus big fridges the place in seldom frequented by...
Read moreJust the best little coffee shop around! I'm not a big coffee guy, but they have an Malt Cold Brew that I get with oat milk that is heavenly and surprisingly doesn't give me the jitters like so many others do. Other times, their Iced Matcha Latte (also with oat milk) is just the right amount of refreshing that I need when stumbling into work there at Bell Works. But, if I'm really being honest, it is the staff there that keeps me coming back each day I work from the office. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in, greeted by name with my customary order already on its way to being made and I don't even need to give them my name or phone number for the loyalty program, such is their attention to customer service. Do yourself a favor and stop by and tell them...
