The food and ice cream are good. This is not an issue with the food.

The issue is with customer service. 👎🏼

We had a party of 9 with us to enjoy a picnic together. Whoever the grumpy old woman is that took our order was extremely rude.

After ordering the 4th burger she said, “Oh boy!” After the 6th she said, “What are we catering now?! How many more are there?”

THEN while she started preparing the food from the back she says, “We don’t take credit cards! Do you have cash?!”

Her behavior is totally inappropriate on all counts.

I would have told her to cancel the order at the moment and walked away had it not been for the fact we like what they offer, especially when we’re purposeful about supporting small local business and especially when business is slower for them during the pandemic.

And she wasn’t...

I come up there a few times a year doing catering at the air national guard basefor Rodney Auto old times restaurant in Norwich I stopped in this time to get a hot dog I got three they were excellent hotdogs old-time flavor and that good old snap to him later staff excellent good place friendly people homemade ice cream fruits and vegetable stand people were very friendly and definitely get six hot...

In times like this the best practice is to adapt, cash is one of the most common ways to spread germs most business only accept cards now instead of cash. Please help control the spread of the virus and adapt your payment methods. There is nothing wrong to accept credit cars and I’m sure many customers don’t mind...
