Uncle Herb's — Local services in Homer

I had to at least have one star to comment...but I have a problem with this place. I went in to purchase a full oz, and four pre rolls. I asked for the 45$ quarter prepack. I was shown the prepacks and chose four along with the prerolls and payed the money. I was told I could only buy three and then the four prerolls. Not thinking I left with my purchase without the receipt. When I discovered I should have paid 45$ less I called them. The employee that served me insisted I bought the four packs ...including the prerolls, which would be impossible because of the addtl pre rolls would make my purchase over an oz, which they are not supposed to do...so I was over charged. They said they would discuss it with the manager who would call me the following day. Needless to say, the manager said they were 65$ quarters and not 45$...when I checked the price before it was 45$ and now magically they became 65$ when I confronted the manager via phone since the manager did not call the next day as I was told by the supervising employee the night before when the purchase made and the mistake was discovered. So don't trust them.....I have heard of the same from others in my circle who go there...so buyer beware, always get the receipt and photograph the menue that is posted at the time of your purchase to protect yourself. Hope this is helpful. It won't happen to me, at least again at this...

Clean, stylish store. Wide selection of good herb. Staff is always courteous and informative. I really like the rotating sales and the punchcard! Even if the products are few dollars more than stores in Anchorage and the Valley, I'm sure they'll be lowered when competition arrives. All the other features, especially the wonderful staff, make shopping at Uncle Herb's a really fun part of my week!

I appreciate you for sticking it out through the arduous and sometimes ridiculous state licensing requirements. Many of us are quite happy to have Uncle Herb's in Homer! My insomnia and arthritis most definitely thank you! I urge people to go speak to ANY of the educated staff - they will steer you to the right med for what ails you! It's folk medicine, alternative medicine, pre-WW1 medicine, but it IS medicine! And, it does work if used properly. Staff at Uncle Herb's can definitely help people new to...

Absolutely love Uncle Herb’s; definitely the best in Homer. I especially love wednesdays because it is w33d fairy Wednesday and I can get a half oz of medicine for around $100.

They also have this thing where three days a week, Monday, Thursday & Saturday, they offer a special for $3.00 pre-rolls and you can purchase up to 10 per visit and you’ll receive a punch card which with every purchase of 5 of the $3.00 joints you’ll receive a stamp on your card and after I believe 10 stamps you get to redeem the reward of 10 prerolls for only $10.00

They also have a great selection of glassware and smoking utensils. The staff is always super kind and friendly and I always love going in there. Definitely going to miss this Dispensary once I...
