This is a clean and mostly complete grocery store. They have a specialty section if high-end hard to find foods & wines. But unlike the other FOODLAND FARMS they do not have ready made food and salads to pick from and take. There is no pizza station here either. They have the usual "hot foods area" which serves fried chicken and fries. There is also the same sushi area every store has which I personally stay away from as I prefer to have REAL crab and chunks of AHI in my y Spicy Tuna...these places chop up the ahi/ tuna and then bathe the small pieces in spicy sauce. Yuk! As for the only other aspects of this FOODLAND FARMS that I feel should change...

  1. Get a self service aisle for check out .
  2. INCORPORATE more variety in the "farms" part of your name.....better vegetables and fruits please. Thank you for...

I didn't like the forced requirements of food land policy of face mask requirement in the early stages of covid 19 even before it became mandatory which was by foodlands CEO I have been a food land customer for 50 years and i have a medical conditions for breathing food land gave no grace for me and now I never been in food land ever since even if I have to go out of my way which i have done I can only compliment wal Mart which has accommodated me i won't go back to food land unless they make amends to there unneccassary policy before the mask mandates were in force they should have made there policy voluntary...

i've been buying their poke for a long time way before chef keoni chang became their executive chef . they have an awesome selection. i always get their hawaiian style and the oyster sauce poke. lately i ve noticed the taste is not consistant from when they first came out with their new selections a few years ago when chef keoni chang became their executive chef.my (2) favorite styles of poke taste watered down. kinda bland. i havent tried the other locations yet, only aina haina. i ve called their main office to let them know of my experience . hopefully they...

Great place for poke great customer service and parking is convenient . What turn me off dramatically was that I went there on a starving stomach, got my foodland ritual ( California poke bowl and a fried chicken), started eating and no matter how much i tried i couldn't swallow the chicken. I felt as if I was eating jerky. The worst chicken I ever ate . It was a surprise because I loved the fried chicken from foodland but after this experience I'm utterly disappointed

I've been visiting this particular Foodland for years. Every Oahu trip, I'm probably at this shop at least twice for very specific items: - spam musubi (warm) - butter mochi (ube, plain) - poke bowl (piping hot rice with a scoop of poke) - reusable bags (for gifting) - Manoa chocolate bars (shop in Kailua) - snacks, pastries, breads Convenient location with large parking lot, next to Leahi for veggie bowls and Uncle Clay's HOPA for shave ice.

A good run of the mill supermarket with great poke. An impressive selection of fresh pokes are available in different sizes which is great way to try a couple of different kinds. It was one of the first things I wanted to try when I got to the islands and I wasn’t disappointed. I got the Hawaiian ahi, spicy ahi, Hawaiian tako (octopus) and the pipikaula (beef). And for around $8 each, it made for a great welcome lunch to Oahu.
