The in-store unisex restroom is open again for paying customers! And now there's paper towels!

Good news! They just got one of those new brewing machines. No more waiting for them to make a pot or do a pourover. These machines grind beans and can make 2 individual cups at a time. Fast, fresh and consistent strength and flavor. It has 6 types of beans, of which 2 are dark roasts. One is Verona and the other is a featured dark roast, currently Sumatra. Edit: no more Sumatra. The dark roast is a little weak, so the kinder baristas give me a powerful pourover.

Not only that, Sbux has apparently rejected plastic cups in favor of compostable cups. So your water is going to come in what looks like a white hot coffee cup.

The hallway to the restroom has a bench seat that is padded! Comfortable for leisurely imbibing. Popular among wahine students. Staff are friendly and polite. Tables outdoors along the side of the store. Closes early.

Surprised they charge...

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a barista named Stephanie at this coffee shop. Not only was she extremely unprofessional, but she also lacked any sort of compassion or respect towards paying customers. Stephanie was more interested in eating cookies out of her apron than actually helping customers. I waited for what seemed like an eternity for her to take my order, only to be met with attitude and indifference. It was clear that she could not have cared less about providing good customer service. I was shocked by Stephanie's lack of professionalism and complete disregard for the customers. It's a shame that someone like her is representing this establishment. I will not be returning to this coffee shop as long as Stephanie is still working here. Thanks for letting us use your restrooms without purchasing anything, I'm very greatful and thankful to Starbucks for making a difference in alot of people's lives, after what I seen what happened to those colored guys on t.v. I was very unhappy. Not only with the employee that called the police, but I was more upset with how the police wouldn't understand that these guys were no criminals, they were just waiting for their friends, and then! Being arrested! I think this police department owes these guys a great apology. They had NO RIGHT ARESSTING these guys! How shameful for this police...
