Great Clips, in my personal experience, has been great to me.

Having short hair is easier to manage, but can be expensive to maintain. It is very affordable here ($22-24 for my length, and they also have military discount 🫣). Kadek is my favorite hair stylist here; she is so warm and friendly, and does her very best. She does not get frustrated when she is asked to fix something that you are not satisfied with. I appreciate her honest feedback and suggestions. The other female stylists that I've worked with here are great, too. I am always impressed with the results; since not only is it very affordable, but it is unexpectedly pleasant. Typically in the hair scene, "you get what you paid for". Here, it is that, and so much more.

I also really appreciate the app/online check-in. It is quick and painless. The proximity of this salon is also close to base, so it is extremely convenient x2.

Shall you decide to get services done here, I hope your experience will be just as good-- as it has been for me. This place is a hidden gem and underrated in my opinion.

Went in with my daughter to get her hair cut and was greeted by the worst customer service I have ever seen. My daughter ask and even shown a picture of what she wanted done. And was harrassed and spoke to with a loud tone. YOU ASK LATER, WHATS YOUR NUMBER. Not sure want she was talking about. I calmly asked you mean phone number. And was answered with the most rude voice. I asked if she could use any number, so she did and check us in. I looked behind me and noticed no line and only 2 customers sitting down. We then went to take a seat and I asked my daughter if she wanted to call the navy exchange salon just in case great clipscan not accommodate her hair style. The very rude check in personal them cancelled my daughters check in. And loudly told us, YOU GOING NEX SO NO NEED CHECK IN. I then asked why would you do that. And she then said the same thing. Ask for Reese (I think she spells it Rhys, but I could be mistaken). I hate that I can’t make appointments here because I’ve on occasion gone in when she wasn’t working and gotten a different stylist. None of them were bad. Reese just always manages to tame my mane into something stylish and manageable EVERY TIME. She’s professional and consistent. I have very thick, long curly/wavy hair. It can get heavy and impossible to deal with very quickly. I like the length, but not the weight, and stylists are always quick to wanna chop it all off. Reese encouraged me to keep my length, and instead layered it beautifully and tailored the ends a bit. My hair NEVER looks good just rolling outta bed, but Reese styles it in a way that it does. Makes my life so much easier. So fortunate to have found her. The location itself has pretty good parking (super busy around lunchtime) and you can’t beat the price.
