I contacted HOI over the phone and ordered an $80 gift certificate for an over the phone tarot reading for a gift for a friend. My friend is not on island. I was told they could not email or text it but insisted on getting my address to send it via mail. (Yes this was in 2025). I repeatedly requested an email but was told I had to text my address. I never received the certificate. After six weeks I called and they texted a screenshot of the tracking number that said it was delivered. It was sent to the wrong address. When I asked for it to be voided and to be given a new one (again just the gift certificate number would suffice as I am not on island and this would just be for a phone reading) HOI refused. They blamed me for a typo on my address. What this had to do with a gift certificate number still confuses me. They refused to return my money. So they stole $80 from me. They are not...

This is my favorite store on the island. Whenever I visit Hawaii, I always make a stop at the House of Intention to pick up some of my favorite candles like Road Opener, C2M, or Deadly Attraction. Whenever I feel stuck, I light these candles and I can feel my life moving forward and help me manifest the things I want. Tarot Readings, Aura Photos, Light Meditation are the awesome services I have asked for and I was not disappointed. I love everyone there. They’re so helpful and know exactly what I need every time I go. Above all, they make you feel like you’re Ohana.
