My family had a wonderful experience at this bookstore! The space is relaxing, with a well-curated selection of titles, especially those relating to Hawaii and local stories. I appreciated the staff recommendations, which helped us pick a couple great books! The children’s section had comfortable chairs for little ones, and my son enjoyed sitting while he paged through and chose a book for himself. The book he selected has been a highlight of our visit to O‘ahu, as he’s spent much of our time here reading science facts aloud from it! Super cute shop with a large children's section, including an adorable little hidden couch nook where kids can sit and read while their parents look around. Also includes a big selection of both children's and adult books on Hawaiian culture, from history to surfing. Plus, lots of coffee table books, a great cookbook section, and a well-curated range of novels and nonfiction with something for everyone (ask the friendly and knowledgeable staff for recommendations). Amazon had this book online for almost $200, and finding it on the Island was impossible.
