I joined Olympus about 9 months ago -- I have tried a lot of different workout classes, programs, and gyms, and I have never felt that consistency and commitment was as easy as it has been with Olympus. Brian is super knowledgeable and every work out is completely personalized to me/my goals/what I want to work on, but I also feel challenged every time I'm there. I love the semi-private format of Olympus -- I go 2-3 times per week, and each time I'm there, there are 3-5 other people there during the same session, but we are all working on our own, individual program, and Brian is there as a resource and a support system for all of us. The community is also so friendly and welcoming, which makes each session more fun. Plus, it's impossible to get bored, because Brian increases the challenge of your program each week, and then changes your program every 4-6 weeks, depending on your personal preference, so you are doing new activities. Read moreI always hated gyms and could never get consistent working out or seeing any gains. Starts and stops all over the place for decades. This place (and Brian, the trainer/owner) is different. There is no judgement, no one is doing the same workout, he has all the equipment, and there are no mirrors! The focus is on form and functional strength, not “crushing reps, BRO!”. Every workout is personally planned, thought out, and works around any previous or current injury you could have. You aren’t doing a workout written in a board or the same thing everyday. It’s amazing what YOU don’t know about getting stronger that Brian just has in the back of his mind. He’s a fitness nerd and can back it all up and SHOW you the correct form, process, nutrition, science and then explain it all in “normal human speak”.
