Lamberts Garden Center — Local services in Mendon

I went to Lambert’s Garden Center Monday morning to get corn stalks. Right away I was greeted by a young worker. I told him how much I love it there and that this was my moms first time here. He walked around with us and answered all her questions. Another young worker was carving out pumpkins and put some mums in the center. He was so friendly and showed me how to do it on my own. The corn stalks were healthy looking and inexpensive and I picked out a white pumpkin. As I was checking out I was offered an Aloe Vera plant for free. We have come here for years for our fall pumpkins, corn stalks and mums. Yesterday, on a beautiful fall Sunday, we were disappointed that when we showed up at 4:40pm, they were closing the fence and closing up for the day. The hours online say they are open until 5pm. I’ve worked in customer service and I know that it’s frustrating when customer come at the end of the day but we planned on being in and out in 20 minutes. I bought 5 wreaths the other night While paying the mgr asked one of the young boys that work there to bring them over to my car I was very close by and pointed out my car I also opened the back hatch for him Today I opened the hatch to remove them and To my surprise he had located two old towels in the back of my car and spread them out so the whole back of my car wouldn’t be covered in needles The most wonderfully thoughtful thing to do.
