Pure Blossom Dispensary — Local services in Hopewell Township

UPDATED REVIEW (January 2025): So it's now been a little over a year since I've started coming to Pure Blossom, and I have had the opportunity to visit 17 times. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

It's not the cheapest, the closest, or the one with the largest inventory. It's just the best overall on absolutely all dimensions, the place where learning the names of the people is worth it, the place where they will learn about you too (not in an intrusive way, just in a way to reduce your stress and streamline your experience). Coming here is what makes the most sense, all or most of the time.

This is a unique dispensary with a unique leadership. It advertises itself as women-owned and women-led, and there is a palpable difference. Everyone feels less disposable — both customers and staff. I have gotten to know the budtenders and become familiar with them. I am always welcome in a friendly way. Any admin hiccup is solved with minimal stress. When I am there, everyone works together to make it feel like you're the most cared for person in the world, with elegance and class. The dispensary invents new concepts all the time, like the "Budwagon" delivery where you can get served by the same budtenders that you know; or the "Try Something New" discount (-15% off any product you've not tried before).

The dispensary has made a point of serving me perfectly in every way. For instance, I once complained that they were out of my favorite brand, Kind Tree, and they have never been out since. Even when other dispensaries are. Several instances where they have shown themselves to be extremely responsive.

They also organize wonderful activities. For instance, they've had promotional events by Kind Tree multiple times. When I complained about missing them, they started announcing them more in advance and telling me where to look to not miss them. It is so exciting to get to meet representatives from the brands that you love, and to hear about all the exciting things in the pipeline and get (amazing) free swag. What other dispensary sets this up for me?

They also organize discounts to make sure that different groups come on different days, so the dispensary is rarely busy. For those of us who use cannabis to treat "anxiety" (the neurotypical code word for "neurodivergent"), this is incredibly helpful. These people understand who their customers are and they go to great lengths to make the dispensary feel like a safe space.

I am so grateful for this unique business, we are very, very, very, very fortunate to have it in the area. I feel like they elevate the standing of our area just by being here.

By the way, did I mention that one of their budtenders, Katie, was nominated for State-wide Cannademix budtender award along with only 3 other people?! It's not surprising that our Pure Blossom would attract such attention!

The only way this could get better is if they expanded to have a cannabis lounge once the State legalizes them.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (December 2023): Had a wonderful first visit!

Easy parking, very welcoming and savvy store manager, and kind staff. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. They use Dutchie instead of ILoveJane for the inventory, and this displays terpenes and detailed composition of every product, which is very useful. There is a loyalty program, and 20% off for newcomers, as well as a 10% discount for medical patients (that counterbalances the slightly less than 10% in state + city taxes).

I was happy with the inventory, there were good products, and the budtenders had good advice, even for someone with experience. Some nice accessories, edibles (1906!) and unique paraphernalia.

I felt like while they may have fewer discounts and a slightly less generous loyalty program than ZenLeaf, they had tremendous value in both closer proximity, not being on Route 1 (ugh! sorry -_-), and also in terms of being a small, boutique operation. There is definite value in being a patron of both.

Hands down, used to be the best dispensary in NJ that I’ve visited & I’ve been to many throughout the state but never again. The most down to Earth, kind, caring & everyone but one are energetic individuals that help operate this CLEAN & FRIENDLY store so smoothly, I actually look forward to stopping in. Maybe they don’t have a crazy vast selection but they pride themselves in selling ONLY great quality products and honestly, they are overall less expensive in general. Add the variety of discounts they offer different populations, as well as their easy to use rewards program will want you to make this place your one & only when it comes to this type of business.

Now I went there several months ago & had to change it for a one star. if zero existed, I’d give them that low of a rating because the way I felt when the one low every lazy employee that works there? locked the door in my face at 7:57 & all to do was give cash and grab my order. I did a pre-order too, simply to grab & go. I had been an extremely loyal customer since the day that door opened but I have never once received a local discount bc that particular day is Sunday and I am not fortunate to have Sundays off and work the same hrs you all are opened… That is BEAT.

But I am looking for something specific, I attempted another pre-order, the order got confirmed for pick up; now let’s if the follow up with there customer service nonsense and have a few more...

Their selection includes flower and concentrates (my preferences, but If you are looking for specialty product? They have it!) From the BEST new up and coming cultivars in the country to the already long list of fine cultivars...these guys are awesome!!! Their organically grown craft brands that they carry CANNOT BE FOUND IN MANY DISPENSARIES. Brighterside Farms, Bliss Co. (MY FAVORITE CULTIVARS..LIKE EVER!¡!!!), BASS RIVER, WANDERBRETT, NICHE, and many other top notch brands. I visit almost every day, only to be greeted, treated very kindly by knowledgeable staff who is happy to share and talk with you.
