Something very illegal was happening when Rite Aid switched over to CVS. They shortened me on 28 tablets of my heart medication. That is theft! I didn't take more of my heart medications than prescribed, or it would be fatal. I didnt spill them...so what happened to TWENTY EIGHT TABLETS? I would not trust this pharmacy. It got even worse now that it changed from Rite Aid to CVS, it is very difficult to speak to anyone in the pharmacy because CVS has an automated phone system that asks you what you are calling about, numerous times, before it will even allow the customer to leave a message requesting a call back! I was informed by CVS corporate that the staff is supposed to call customers back within 60 minutes of leaving a message, however, there were 4 times that my phone call was not returned. None of the pharmacies in this county want to provide customer service. How are people supposed to live without their medications? It is bad enough that there isn't any health care in Gray's Harbor, but on top of that, none of the staff that work at the pharmacies will answer questions, & some don't even answer the phone! Staff at this pharmacy, & one other, has been verbally abusive to me to the point that I have panic attacks when I'm forced to call to check the status of my medications. It has gotten so bad that I have considered stopping all medications & letting nature just take it's course. Most people that move here quickly move after finding out that there is no health care, no resources, & no customer service...people are just rude at every business! We want to move, but we have been stuck here because we made the mistake of buying a home here. To make matters worse with this CVS pharmacy...they kept the same staff tgat was working at Rite Aid. Well, Paul, who is one of the pharmacists just answers the phone by saying "UHHH." That has happened on 2 different occasions when I spoke to him. I spoke to an employee who told me that I am not the only customer that has complained about this issue. The last time that he answered the phone with "UHHH" I asked him if he could please just say Hello when answering, because it is confusing when he just answers with "UHHH." Paul, the pharmacist, replied with..."did you just call to tell me how to answer the phone? You're rude." I've been treated horribly by many people that work here in Gray's Harbor. But come on, how does Paul even have a job? He obviously has no pride, & doesn't care about professionalism...WHO answers the phone in that manner? I wonder how he would react if someone treated him, or someone he cares about, so horribly? I wish I was still a oral surgery assistant & could have him as a patient! Of course, I took pride in being a professional & making sure that my patients were comfortable. However, after how badly he has treated me, I might have made an exception for him! This is a small town, it would seem employees wouldn't want to treat people in an...
Read morelisten to the negative reviews. after rite aid closed, my meds were switched here and they flat out told me they won't accept my insurance (it's medicaid), without even asking for my insurance card. there were 4 people in line ahead of me and every single person was turned away without receiving their medication. a friend of mine with the same exact insurance that i have was able to pick his meds up just fine at this location a week ago, so it's very interesting they told me that they don't accept mine. i have had issues with different cvs locations and i see this one is no exception. unfortunately, it's best to find somewhere else with people who actually care and aren't just there for a paycheck.
i've never had a pharmacy tell me they don't accept medicaid, so forgive me if i think it's a little bit BS.
it was around 1pm and I understand they go to lunch at 1:30, however there was 0 effort, not even a "sorry, this will take a while can you come back later?" - infact there was no apology for them even "not accepting (my) insurance".
the place was nice and clean, but I can't in good conscience give a good rating when people need their meds and are carelessly being...
Read moreOMG, this place has become orders of magnitude worse than the old Rite Aid (which already sucked hard). Seriously, they close the pharmacy for an hour every day at lunch no matter how many people are waiting or how early you request your meds. I had to wait over four hours for a prescription I had requested a refill for several days prior. Prices are obscenely high, selection and stock is super low, there's even less here than when it was a Rite Aid full of empty shelves!
I will NEVER shop here again! Everyone in the pharmacy is super rude, rushed, and overworked. It's almost impossible to get a refill unless you're willing to camp out in the store for hours and hours! What about those of us who work during the day and only have lunchtime to pick things up? Guess what, you're totally screwed as serving the customers is literally the last thing in the world this store's manager cares about. They really need to fire everyone in management at this store, gross incompetence at its finest. Trust me, get your prescriptions filled anywhere else and save yourself the extreme agony of trying to shop here. Trust the less than 1 stars, this is one place you want to...
