Bi-Mart Membership Discount Stores — Local services in Aberdeen

I've grown to love Bi Mart. I stayed away for quite a while after my grandmother passed away since it reminded me of her; but now as an older young lady I understand why my mimi loved the store. It has just about everything. Prices are great. There's almost always some kind of discount on laundry needs and toiletries, etc. The only reason for the 4 stars is the customer service. On multiple occasions I have stood in line for over 20 minutes while associates could visibly see the line growing rapidly yet chose to stand there and chit chat. Customer service would sure be nice if it could go back to the way it was when I was in that type of work setting back in early 2000's "customer service and not making people wait" along with the "customer is always right" type stuff was drilled into me while working for department stores. We LOVE Bi-Mart, every Employee and the Manager has always been super friendly, helpful and super nice to us. My husband bought me some earrings for my Wedding Anniversary gift, and my right ear is very sensitive to certain metals and the manager told us that if we bought the earrings and my ear hurt just bring the earrings back, so my husband purchased the earrings and I got very lucky in that I didn't have to return the earrings, my ear didn't hurt, and those earrings are super nice and a little expensive, but, oh boy, they are NICE EARRINGS!! You pay $5 to join Bi-Mart and that's good FOREVER, and we have saved more than $5, so it's like getting your $5 back! I was at Bi-Mart today shopping ,which I love to do, when I noticed I was being followed. At first it didn’t bother me but when I went from one end of the store to the other end, going about my shopping, it was obvious that they were stereo-typing me. I was appalled because I was being judged for simply doing what I love, shopping. I have been to Bi-Mart in the past and never have I felt so mistreated! I will NEVER go back to Bi-Mart again and I will tell ALL my friends and family of the horrible experience I had today at Bi-Mart! Discrimination is wrong in anyway shape or form!
