I moved into this apartment complex at the end of February and since then, I’ve experienced two issues that I consider serious. The first was with the upstairs neighbor, who walked around and made a lot of noise during the night for four consecutive days, which prevented me from sleeping. I went to speak with the manager, Whitney, to report the situation, and she, in a rather unfriendly manner, told me I should have called the police. I found this response completely inappropriate, as this type of situation should be handled amicably between neighbors, with the support of the management. The second issue was regarding the use of the barbecue grill. When I asked how the reservation process worked, I was told it was on a first-come, first-served basis. Following that guidance, I arrived early, set up my things, and started using the grill. Later on, I was approached by Louie, who informed me that another resident had rented the party hall and, because of that, had priority to use the grill. He said that if she wanted to, she could ask me to leave. The resident herself, who was very polite, told me that the management had just charged her, at that very moment, $750 for the hall and the grill — even though I was already using it. What bothers me the most is not just the situations themselves, but the way residents are treated. I felt a lack of respect, clarity, and common sense from the management. That said, everything else has been good so far. I would also like to mention that during the leasing process, I was treated very well by Sierra, and the maintenance staff has always been very nice...
Read moreWe moved into Homestead at Hamlin back in July before construction on all the amenities was completed, and over the past few months as everything has come together, it’s been a really pleasant experience. Everything from the cozy and welcoming leasing office to the new gym, office stables and the entertainment barn has been absolutely worth the wait.
The staff here is amazing. From the moment we first inquired about living here, Louie (easily the best leasing agent we’ve encountered) made the process seamless and convenient. The property manager, Whitney, has always been friendly, approachable, and intentional about addressing any issues we’ve had. Justin and Ish from the maintenance team have been awesome, quickly resolving the few minor maintenance issues in our apartment. Shelby and Izic were also really nice and helpful during their time here, and we appreciated their assistance while they were part of the team.
Every interaction we’ve had with the staff has been positive, with a great balance of approachability, professionalism, and genuine good vibes—even when addressing concerns. We lived in quite a few apartment communities before this, and we’ve never experienced one that strikes this balance as well as Homestead at Hamlin does.
We’ve been very satisfied with our stay here so far and could definitely see ourselves being comfortable here for a long time if this level of...
Read moreWe recently experienced a very unsettling situation at the community when our car was stolen on a Saturday. Unfortunately, there was no office support available that day, and the person on duty wasn’t properly prepared to handle the situation. At that moment, we felt the lack of immediate assistance and structure to deal with such incidents.
However, in the days that followed, we were positively surprised by the attention and care we received from the management team — especially Whitney, who treated us with empathy, respect, and understanding. She listened to our concerns, acknowledged our frustration, and took the time to explain possible improvements being considered for the safety of the community, which helped bring us some peace of mind.
Our car is still under repair, so we are still dealing with the consequences of what happened, but we wanted to express our gratitude for the support and follow-up we received after the incident. We truly hope the promised safety improvements will be implemented and that no other residents will have to go through...
