One of my favorite Islamic bookstores is the Books 'N Gifts Shoppe, which is located near the Savoy Restaurant on Wilcrest Drive between W. Belfort Avenue and Stancliffe Road. I have been visiting this book shoppe for more than 20 years. As a Christain I have always been made welcome by the family owners of this store. I am usually offered a cup of tea and a chair to sit down on and to simply talk. Over the years I have had many friendly conversations with both the owners and with customers who engage in similar discussion in the pursuit of knowledge. Read moreMe and my wife were visiting Savoy complex we noticed this shop. We entered the shop and quickly realized it's not something we would be interested in. We decided to leave. As we were leaving, the shopkeeper ran towards us, stopped us and said "ager lena nhi tha kuch tou aye kyu thy". I was shocked at this. When we were in the car my wife told me that when we entered the shop one of the three guys said "aa tou gaye hain lengy nhi kuch". The guy at the shop should learn basic costumer service etiquettes. His rude and disrespectful behavior will not help him...

My husband and I went to a few other Islamic stores before arriving here, and we were so glad that we waited to come here before making any of our purchases. They were very knowledgeable, gave great suggestions according to what we were looking for, and had really polite and friendly customer service.
