This is gonna be a long one. I started fragrance shopping/hunting at the beginning of January and have been visiting as many Burlingtons as I can when I can. I have been lucky to find some really good deals. This one is my local Burlington that I visit for lunch time, check out the fragrance selection, if they have something interesting, I'll get it. Today I went to check out the shoes. I was followed from the entrance to the men's shoe section to be asked if I could be helped with something since they remembered I was told "not to come back to this store anymore". I was super confused and asked "what? why? I usually come here to check out what new fragrances there are, I wasn't told anything, and I even made a return". She said "Yeah, we've seen you here". I stopped looking at the shoes and walked with her towards the front, not really knowing what to make of it. I walked out of the store feeling bad/disrespected/confused. I decided to go back to ask if I could still come back and shop there because it's my closest Burlington. They said "that's fine", I said "cool". I've been wondering what exactly I did to get their attention. I shouldn't be thinking about it this much, but if they confused me for someone else, it would have put my mind at ease if they said that. But they didn't have the courtesy to tell me what I was accused of doing either. I'm going to limit the times I go into this one. Don't want to feel like I look suspicious bargain/fragrance hunting.
The stars are for the good deals I've found during my...
Read moreThis store is BAD!!!
The RESTROOMS is where I started! Walked in there and almost threw up. Looked like they hadn't been clean in forever! Trash all over the floor and dirty toilets AND out of toilet seat covers (like I didn't see that coming)!
Once that was over with I had gone to look for a basket. There was none to be found so I had to patiently wait for someone to be finished with theirs.
As I was shopping, I noticed they had a very good selection of pretty much everything. I found some really good deals, I probably would have found more but A LOT OF THINGS DID NOT HAVE PRICES ON THEM! How do you expect something to sell if there is not a price on it?!?!?!!?!
The Body section (bath salts, scrubs, etc) was VERY messy, almost everything had been open, used, seals broken etc.
I saw an employee whom was stocking the shelves and noticed that she had SLIPPERS ON. How profesional is that? Slippers? really? Oh well Obviously her boss doesn't care considering how his store looks!
Other than all those flaws the employees were alright. The one who checked me out had only been there for 2 days, she was fairly nice and so was the floor manager at the time. So no complaints there.
Overall a pretty dirty visit but found...
Read moreWe visit the place yesterday, 05/15 at 9AM and it was the worst moments of my life. This Burlington at greens point, it's the worst place to buy, they have only one casher, even if there many people working. Despite of the huge line, no one cares. There was an old lady as a cashier, she feel that it was too much time that we waited. And I commented it's not her fault because y'all need more cashier but here come the manager, calling me a lier for waiting in the line for too long. Until she saw how the clients were getting frustrated she started to call out. She didn't respect us as a clien, and I know I'm not the only one who came out waiting for long time just to purchase one thing. The fact many people are Hispanic and they don't know how to speak English or how to communicate, does not give the right to the manager to disrespect clients. I hope the owners pay more attention to this because if the store is still in business, it's because there are clients still going. Not because workers, because as a manager that disrespect the clients what more are we going to expect from the workers at this...
