Worst Burger King Ever. Do not go there
I am writing this complaint about one of the employees who is black, short, and wears glasses who was very hostile towards me. I wanted to give zero stars but there are no zeros.
Before I even proceed with my case, I personally think that black employee should be terminated because he is lacking customer service skills and he has mental issues. Furthermore, there is no reason to show hostility and aggression towards customers over something petty like ice.
I went in at about 6pm today to buy a fish sandwich. I wanted some ice because I had my own fruit drink, and he said I have to pay for ice. So I went to sit down to eat and I got up to put some ice in a clean bag. He said no I can't put ice in a bag. I complied and went back to eat my sandwich, but I realized I was missing a straw. I went to get a straw and then he came accusing me of getting ice. I only got a straw. Then he started acting vile and aggressive, worse than an animal. Then he told me that I could not eat there because I took ice. I was just shocked and very disturbed by his behavior. He insisted that I leave and threatened to call the Police.
I refused to leave because I wanted to finish my sandwich. I could not believe he took my shopping bag, put it outside. He even came trying to take pictures of me. This is harassment and this type of animal should not be attending to customers. He just confirmed to me that he had mental issues, so I left before it escalated to the worst. I honestly think that this employee should be terminated because he is way too hostile, vile, and aggressive, and he has mental problems. If he continues employment with Burger King I can forsee some lawsuits with him or someone else might..... I think they need to get rid of that black employee because with that attitude towards customers, he will cost Burger King some lawsuits.

What I thought was a simple order of chicken nuggets and an order of cookies, was not only never gotten to, but was met with a monologue of how burger king has changed their expectations for their employees to get orders received quicker. While I am more than glad to help out my community succeed in everything, right before a customer is ready to place an order is not the time. The job will take as long as it needs to take; mind you I was the only customer in line. I use my mobile app faithfully especially with just having a birthday yesterday, I am strapped for cash. Devontae rudely told me I needed to upgrade my internet capabilities. I don't know who I need to talk about how I was treated as a customer but unprofessional was an understatement. I do not have to disclose to any person at burger king or any of their competitors, why my mobile app is on multiple devices and the battery life is different for my phones. I also don't come to burger king to get insulted over my tech saviness. I do however enjoy positively leaving reviews on the surveys about how hardworking our black and brown community members are trying hard to keep up with expectations everywhere in Houston when it comes to quality of service.i would have been more than happy to personally request burger king corporate consider this location for a technological upgrade to assist with their order time but instead Devontae had better ideas by refusing service because i don't want to hear someone tell me how to be a customer at their job. The long line was fine with me but after asking the worker (Paola) to charge me for 2 iceees to put it in a large cup she has told me they no longer could do that and she would have to charge me for a cup. I thought it was odd that she was doing that because for the last month or so she and the store were selling me the large icee with no problem by just charging me 2 times for the icees..So then I get to the window the manager in charge pretends to not know who took my order and did not tell me her name. I found out her name was Paola and also realized it was the same girl who took my order the day before for the same thing. 2 iceees and put in a large cup. She goes on to tell me she charged me for a cup but in reality charged a whole $1 dollar and some change just for the cup 🤨 so then I realized she charged me for a soda instead of just the cup itself 🤔. She was rude obnoxious and very disrespectful. Terrible customer service and does not deserve to work for anything relating to customer service if she can’t handle a rush hour of customers going through a drive through and asking for simple orders.
