I. LOVE. the ice here. It is so good... I think it's called Raspas, but its in these glass cases (like the ones they use to keep icecream)/ So when you go, you order your size. I like to get a larger size like the 16 oz so I can freeze my left overs for later. You get up to 3 flavors. I usually get watermelon, mangoloco and mangonada. My favorite is watermelon. It is sweet and refreshing. The mangonada and anything loco can be a bit overpowering. It is the combination of sweet and salty that just makes your mouth water. I would definitely pair those with a regular flavor. If you like tamarind you should get the tamarind loco but again, pair with a less flavorful flavor. I also tasted the guava before which was pretty good considering that I'm not a fan of guava. My friend and I were spitting out seeds (it was that fresh!). I think the prices are pretty reasonable and they actually serve a wide variety of items on their menu including ice cream, fresh juices, tortas etc. On another note. Once I ordered two half gallons of ice. I felt kinda bad because it took the girls forever to scoop it out of the tubs. They were like using all their strength to pierce the hard ice and every scoop was just a little sliver into our huge half gallon bucket so it took forever. My husband and I were cringing and regretting ordering these huge tubs. We had no idea the girls would have to exert so much time, effort and energy. I noticed though that they didn't pack the ice in like they would if you ordered a smaller size so most of my half gallon was air. I was disappointed, but I didn't want to say anything either because I felt so bad they were breaking their backs to scoop the ice. Apparently, the worse ones to scoop is watermelon (unfortunate since this is the best) while mango and strawberry is easier. We ended up just telling them to give us more mango and strawberry. I hope they can implement a more efficient system, but in the future, I will probably order smaller sizes because I think you get the most value for that. Definitely go yall. This place is so unique and is quite an experience!

Nothing fancy here—just a small hole-in-the-wall spot serving up *exactly* what you need when the cravings hit. If you’re into Mexican snacks with bold flavors, a little spice, and that nostalgic comfort food vibe, this is the place. They’ve got all the classics: elotes, mangonadas, tostilocos, hot Cheetos with cheese, and all the chamoy and tajĆn your heart desires. Everything is made fresh and full of flavor. Perfect for a quick stop when you’re craving something fun, spicy, or sweet. Don’t come expecting a sit-down restaurant—come for the munchies, the real-deal Mexican street snacks, and leave satisfied. Definitely a go-to when you want to treat yourself to something tasty and low-key.

This place stands out from the rest of the fruit and snacks stands in the area because they will custom order and substitute to your hearts content on any snack or treat. I highly recommend the "pico de gallo" fruit salad. They will even customize the order to a single fruit type or only the fruits you pick. The chile sauce is not too spicy and you can double up on the chile and Limon on any fruit salad for only. 50 cents more. The staff are incredibly friendly and are bilingual to assist with the crowd. They have a large variety of sizes and many variations of snacks. Another great snack is the whole red apple covered in chile, chamoy and lime. U can buy whole or sliced open.

To ALL the people complaining (who also DO NOT KNOW how to write šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø) about this great place, please go else where!

Back to what I came for. It’s been years since I first saw this place, and went in to check them out. I honestly did not know what to order because I looked around, and the food I saw at the tables looked too good! Even the menu looked mouth watering!

I decided to just go for a jugo (or smoothie in English), it had a bunch of fruits. I sat down and started to drink it, and couldn’t stop! It was sooooo good! I bought another one and two more for my boys.

We moved away from the area, and always dreamed about drinking their smoothie again. Then I moved back, and went back and told them about the smoothie from many years ago, and I didn’t know the name (I still don’t 😩). The very kind lady suggested one based on the description I gave her, and guess what? My taste buds were in euphoria all over again! Ohhh my God I was soooo happy! šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ„¤ā™„ļø

I then ordered a bunch of food for my son, and the El Chavo del Ocho Torta, I loved it, but it was way too big for me! It was really good though!

Of course my kid ate eeeeeverything and kept asking where I got the food from. I told him from the smoothie place from many years ago!

I told him that once my older son comes back to visit, we will all go there again!

To the owner: Could you make the ā€œopenā€ sign on window facing Gessner Rd more visible? It’s too small and barely...
