--- NK Score = 7.5/10 --- 7/10 = Furniture/Ambience 8/10 = Food Quality 8/10 = Prices/Services (Other Ratings Hidden) _____________________________________________ =( BASIC INFO )= - Casual, Medium Sized Restaurant - Usually Empty, Little Wait - Good Food ( $8.00 - $11.00 ) - Authentic Thai Cuisine - Good Price, Ok Service - Good Parking Accessibility _____________________________________________ = Atmosphere = Casual interior with some decor and nothing really fancy going on. The place is usually quiet as it's not busy most of the time, except during lunch time. Just a very casual eating experience really. _____________________________________________ = Food Quality = - Pad See Ew ($8.25): Pretty good flat rice noodles with a very traditional flavor, nothing really exotic or mind blowing. Everything was well cooked and the Chinese broccoli had a good texture. Worth a try if you like a more casual kind of Pad See Ew. - Pad Thai ($8.25): Nicely made noodles with an interesting flavor that's blended with a little bit of salt. The chicken was nice and soft with everything blending together very well. _____________________________________________ = Price / Service = The prices here are somewhat cheaper than most Thai Restaurants, although still around the 8 dollar mark. The portions are pretty good for the price so it's definitely worth trying here once. Lastly, the service did seem a little less attentive, but they still did a decent job so I guess it's not a big deal. _____________________________________________ Recommendations: Pad Thai, probably one of the more well known noodles and the place does a good job of sending out it's unique flavor. It is a little different from other places so you'll have to test it out. - Signed NK (June 2017) - Images below by Jason Lx (NK)

Typically, when you go to a restaurant, you look for three things: the quality of food, the service and attention to details, and the ambiance of the locale. This place fails on all three criteria. When I entered the place no one greeted me and as I took a table and waited, no one came by to take my order. Then I stood up, looked at some food pics on the wall and stepped up to the counter to place my order: the beef pad Thai lunch plate, with a glass of water. A few minutes later, the waiter brings me a bowl of broth with some unidentifiable bits and pieces floating in it. And then the main dish arrives: beef FRIED RICE! I don't make a scene and just eat it, barely. No flavor. I had asked for medium spicy - there's no spice. And - did you notice I had requested water? - no water ever came. So, yes, 1 star for food and service. As far as ambiance is concerned, this is a bare bone place with a few tables arranged in a grid and no decorations except the aforementioned pictures of their dishes on the wall. 3 stars for this - you get what you pay for. Overall decision: not coming back to this place. There are literally hundreds of restaurants within a few blocks of this restaurants that might be a better bet for my empty stomach.

Visited Thai Style Fast Food multiple times and it continues to be a solid option for an affordable and convenient lunch place. The prices are very economical, making it a great choice when you’re craving a quick but flavorful meal. Tried a few of their signature dishes: the Coconut Milk Soup, Shrimp Red Curry, and Beef Pad Kee Mai (add spicy if you like spicy). The soup is rich and creamy with a comforting coconut base, but this time it had a slight tangibles that added an unexpected sourness. You can’t go wrong with their Red Curry, it had a slight sweetness followed by a milk kick, creating a satisfying and full-bodied flavor. Beef Pad Kee Mao, the added spicy made the fish particularly enjoyable, delivering a nice heat without overpowering the other flavors. General speaking, Thai Style Fast Food is a reliable spot for a delicious and budget-friendly meal. The service is always quick, and the food quality is consistently good. While the Coconut Milk Soup could use a slight adjustment in balance, the rest of the dishes were great!

I decided to try to call in to place a pick up order. I wanted drunken noodles with beef & asked for pricing. The girl gave me the pricing for Pad Thai. I pointed out that she said a different dish & I was confirming if that was the price for the drunken noodles & if she misread the name. She decided to get defensive saying no I didn’t in a rude manner then tried to argue with me. Extremely unacceptable. There’s no reason for an attitude & being defensive when it could’ve been a simple mistake hence why I was just confirming. I ended up hanging up in her face before you could keep talking because I’m not arguing with a random girl on the phone trying to prove a point that doesn’t exist. I called back for the manager. She placed the phone to the side to talk to her & I heard everything she said. The manager seemed nice. She explained that the pricing is the same for both but that’s not the point. How am I suppose to know that I called for one order not the one she said… basically her manager explained why she said Pad Thai when that girl tried to argue with me saying she didn’t. If I’m ordering one dish & you tell me the pricing for another dish I’m going to correct it because that’s not what I want. The issue was the defensive attitude . Not sure if she took my complaint serious or not the conversation felt rushed & not taken serious but she said she’ll talk to her. I didn’t even try the food based off the good reviews because of that girl. Listen to the bad customer service reviews they don’t make you...

This place is absolu-freaking-lutely delicious. The portions are HUGE and the prices are budget friendly. My husband and I both ordered our own menu items, and we shared fried rice and dessert. We didn't realize just how much food we ordered until it got to us - we were in shock.

The pad thai was hands down the best I've ever had; one of my biggest pet peeves is overly saucy/slimy pad thai, and this one was seriously perfect. It was the most inexpensive thing we ordered (besides dessert) and could have fed the both of us very comfortably.

The chicken panang curry was seriously divine. Soooo good! I couldn't get enough of it. I ordered it medium spicy because I know Thai food can get extremely spicy - it was the perfect amount of kick for me. It came with a generous side of white rice.

We both shared basil fried rice with shrimp. The shrimp in this was excellent! I'm from Florida and am picky about shrimp in the gulf as I'm used to sweeter, cleaner shrimp. Each shrimp here was an excellent size, the perfect amount of chewiness and not slimy. There were probably ~6 in the rice, which I think is fair. The rice definitely had a kick the way we ordered it, but I'm sure it can be toned down upon request.

Also... the thai donuts. Think bite sized dough balls, fried and covered in chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. I would 10/10 order these again.

Overall, I'm so glad I tried this place. As a new Houstonian, this will definitely be my...
