Casual, Medium Sized Restaurant Usually Empty, Little Wait Good Food ( $8.00 - $11.00 ) Authentic Thai Cuisine Good Price, Ok Service Good Parking Accessibility = Atmosphere =
Casual interior with some decor and nothing really fancy going on. The place is usually quiet as it's not busy most of the time, except during lunch time. Just a very casual eating experience really. = Food Quality =
Pad See Ew ($8.25): Pretty good flat rice noodles with a very traditional flavor, nothing really exotic or mind blowing. Everything was well cooked and the Chinese broccoli had a good texture. Worth a try if you like a more casual kind of Pad See Ew.
Pad Thai ($8.25): Nicely made noodles with an interesting flavor that's blended with a little bit of salt. The chicken was nice and soft with everything blending together very well. = Price / Service =
The prices here are somewhat cheaper than most Thai Restaurants, although still around the 8 dollar mark. The portions are pretty good for the price so it's definitely worth trying here once. Lastly, the service did seem a little less attentive, but they still did a decent job so I guess it's not a big deal. Recommendations: Pad Thai, probably one of the more well known noodles and the place does a good job of sending out it's unique flavor. It is a little different from other places so you'll have to test it out.

Read moreI decided to try to call in to place a pick up order. I wanted drunken noodles with beef & asked for pricing. The girl gave me the pricing for Pad Thai. I pointed out that she said a different dish & I was confirming if that was the price for the drunken noodles & if she misread the name. She decided to get defensive saying no I didn’t in a rude manner then tried to argue with me. Extremely unacceptable. There’s no reason for an attitude & being defensive when it could’ve been a simple mistake hence why I was just confirming. I ended up hanging up in her face before you could keep talking because I’m not arguing with a random girl on the phone trying to prove a point that doesn’t exist. I called back for the manager. She placed the phone to the side to talk to her & I heard everything she said. The manager seemed nice. She explained that the pricing is the same for both but that’s not the point. How am I suppose to know that I called for one order not the one she said… basically her manager explained why she said Pad Thai when that girl tried to argue with me saying she didn’t. If I’m ordering one dish & you tell me the pricing for another dish I’m going to correct it because that’s not what I want. The issue was the defensive attitude . Not sure if she took my complaint serious or not the conversation felt rushed & not taken serious but she said she’ll talk to her. I didn’t even try the food based off the good reviews because of that girl. Listen to the bad customer service reviews they don’t make you...
Read moreThis place is absolu-freaking-lutely delicious. The portions are HUGE and the prices are budget friendly. My husband and I both ordered our own menu items, and we shared fried rice and dessert. We didn't realize just how much food we ordered until it got to us - we were in shock.
The pad thai was hands down the best I've ever had; one of my biggest pet peeves is overly saucy/slimy pad thai, and this one was seriously perfect. It was the most inexpensive thing we ordered (besides dessert) and could have fed the both of us very comfortably.
The chicken panang curry was seriously divine. Soooo good! I couldn't get enough of it. I ordered it medium spicy because I know Thai food can get extremely spicy - it was the perfect amount of kick for me. It came with a generous side of white rice.
We both shared basil fried rice with shrimp. The shrimp in this was excellent! I'm from Florida and am picky about shrimp in the gulf as I'm used to sweeter, cleaner shrimp. Each shrimp here was an excellent size, the perfect amount of chewiness and not slimy. There were probably ~6 in the rice, which I think is fair. The rice definitely had a kick the way we ordered it, but I'm sure it can be toned down upon request.
Also... the thai donuts. Think bite sized dough balls, fried and covered in chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. I would 10/10 order these again.
Overall, I'm so glad I tried this place. As a new Houstonian, this will definitely be my...
