I usually shop here as it does have cheap prices and its close to home, but the way the store is up and running could be so much better. Whenever it comes time to pay we have to weed out and try to see if one of the friendly cashiers is open as we already know who has given us decent service. Most of the other cashiers stand there talking to the bagger or other workers around them but dont have an ounce of customer service for the customers. You could say thank you as they havent said one word and they'll still ignore you. Lately though we have had an issue with being harassed by the men workers there. I usually go with my girlfriend so with even more reason the harassment is not wanted. On monday July 29, I was mentioning to her how one of our recent night visits weve made, one of the managers/co managers whoever. One of the guys in front in a tie, seemed to be just walking around with another worker asking us if were still in high school and walking around like creeps just staring. They seemed to be high because of the way they carried themselves. It was uncomfortable. But as I brought that past experience up, we made it to the car, put our groceries up. I get in the car and my girlfriend is stopped by the cart pusher. I roll my window down and hes asking her if shes seeing anyone. She tells him she has a relationship and its with the person right in the car. I mean why are the workers thinking its so acceptable to creep around asking women questions about if theyre in school to scope out age or whatever. And thinking its okay to ask them out. Were literally not wearing anything flashy or seeking attention so why must you bother us with attempts to catch us. You are on the clock, and have nothing to offer to begin with if youre not taking your job seriously. The store is decent but the workers only make the shopping experience regrettable. If there was to be a good change in workers the place would be much more...

Read moreHaving moved into the area recently, on one of my morning walks I discovered Food Town Kirkwood.
Upon entering, I found the store to be immaculate. Visual is as important to me as the food items themselves.
My favorite part is the produce area as I am a produce foodie. Everything is reasonaby priced and fresh- I purchase from there at least three times a week.
I have grown to know a number of the employees, and I see how hard they work and how diligently they strive to keep everything stocked and up to date.
The management is friendly- professional- and there is a lot of camaraderie amongst the employees and management that I have observed.
Thank you Food Town- Thank you employees- Thank You management, for making my shopping experience outstanding each time I enter the...
