ill never recommend anyone to come to this unprofessional restaurant ever. i know this place barely gets business based off the fact its all those chairs in there and no one there for hours on end. the cashier in the front was soooo rude . i told her this is my first time ever ordering something and apologized ahead of time for needing help and that i have an idea of what i want. i wanted something red stewy but with fufu and she shamed me for not having an appropriate side to the main dish. she showed me a type of soup that looked red on the picture . she was not helpful at all like i inconvenienced her to ask questions even though it was over 20$ for one bowl. i got the food and i had chicken added . that food looked so nasty. like super disgusting and it was . no flavor. boiled chicken w the skim and looked like it was old and adde fb into it last minute . the food wasnt even hot . i had tried to eat it and i just couldnt . i shared w someone else who was also disappointed. i went back and i said im sorry but this isnt what i wanted and i just wanted a refund bc i couldnt go through another trying to figure it out . obviously uou dont want to ask again if the cashier already is annoyed and showing her frustration. instead of just giving me my refund the owner is called . then the cook to the front. the cook is now yelling at me saying i insulted her food when i said nothing about the taste. i try to defend myself and the MALE owner is letting both of his female cooks yell at a customer for just wanting her money back. in the rnd they “refunded me” and i never recieved payment. called the owner to see why and now all of a sudden the system wont let him. yeah, okay. i went somewhere wlse literally walking distance to a sweet african lady right by the liquor store and she hooked me up !! literally asked wuestions and she was so willing to give me exactly what i wanted no problem and this is more hole in the wall ! she blessed me and was so sweet if you want ti get authentic african food from a mom and pop do...

The pumpkin seed used, could it be bought in the United States. And the fufu isn’t the proper fufu quality or portion size. I feel asleep after. Very troubling. What if I was at work. That’s not a good lunch to service. Honestly it’s not a business that can last for a long time. It doesn’t address the masses. No way to scale it. I had to advise my African American not ti come close, the smell and only God knows why you didn’t use a little virgin oil lol. Sorry - this should be recommended as needed. Use spices from a particular store and ingredients for the seed should be from the Halloween pumpkin seed. That’s why African American accuse African born origin for lack of cooperation. The same goes for the Mexican culture. We could all use one old school beautiful restaurant that truly shows are traditional food in the best light. The Uber delivery driver requested an additional tip, that’s how I know he didn’t like the delivery smell...

I met a lady that I asked what menu was available and she did not make me feel like she had stuff to offer me unlike the times I usually come here( a young lady was always there with a nice smile) used bottles of beer was lying around, chair was broken and dirty(mind you she told me to sit down) I was standing the entire time cause heck No! The floor was dirty and to paint a picture of how dirty it was if my wallet fell down by accident I would need Clorox bleach to clean it. IT WAS BAD! I really wanted to give the food a chance but I thought since the place is like this how will inside where the food is being made be. SO I WALKED OUT! This place had turned into a nightmare! And to think it used to be a place I liked getting my food from that was...
