I was so excited to have my daughter's second birthday here! I had never been here before but I did tons of research on their website. I went with this place because I saw they did they exact decor that I wanted for her birthday party. I call in a month in advance to ask questions and to make sure that they could do the decor, I was told that they could and I let them know I could not book the theme party online when I tried so the lady over the phone told me to give them a call back later to do it over the phone. I waited until about 3 weeks before the party date to before calling back to ask about decor again, this time I was told that the owners would be on vacation the weekend of my baby's party (: but I was assured they'd be able to decorate but they would need to double check. I did not hear back from the lady so I called again a week before the party to see if they could decorate, again, she told me that she would check with the owner and call back. I didn't hear anything back so I called back 5 days before the party this time I was told that they could not do ANY decorating (no balloon garlands-nothing) since the owners were on vacation. The girl I had been communicating with expressed that she would be my party host and since they could not decorate they would accommodate me with only a few paper goods and let us use plate settings. It's just annoying to be told one thing for almost a month and then days before the party you have to stress about getting your own things together.
Due to trying to do my own decor and not having the time to get proper help to set up the party we were late for the party, the birthday girl was late, we had to pay $100 for more time. Not to mention when we got there, our original party host was not there so the new party host did not have things that were promised over the phone ready to go for us and knew nothing about what I was asking for. Not to mention tables in the party room were super weak (they must only be made to seat children). There were several times where party guest went to sit down and almost flipped the table. All of this is just super annoying when you have been in contact with the establishment for at least a month before the party. Nonetheless, this was a really cute place for toddlers and my baby had a lot of fun. Birthday parties at this place are was too expensive for things to have gone they way they went for my daughter's party (not to mention, the price went up literally the week before I booked the party)
I called in to make this complaint. I was told that the owners were still out and would call me back when they were back in town but I still haven't heard from anyone yet, two weeks later (:
Fun place to bring your little one to play. Maybe not so much...
Read moreWe came to this indoor playground for a party and arrived around 4:33 PM. By 4:56 PM—within just 40 minutes—our 5-month-old daughter’s gold anklet had gone missing. She hadn’t played in any of the activity areas; we had only walked in and out of the party room, so we knew it had to have been dropped somewhere along that short path.
We immediately asked staff if they could check the security cameras to see if it had been dropped or picked up. They said only the owner could access the footage, which we understood but we were hoping they’d reach out quickly in case whoever picked it up was still in the building. There was no sense of urgency. They said they’d do a sweep and “keep an eye out,” but it honestly felt like the situation was brushed off. With only one other party going on and a limited timeframe, it’s hard not to feel like this could have been handled better. If this had been a medical emergency or something more serious, we’d hope for a faster response but we’re not even sure that would’ve happened.
We’ve accepted the anklet is gone, but we’re sharing this so other families know if something goes missing, don’t expect much help in recovering it.
Aside from that, the overall cleanliness of the facility was poor. Toys and furniture looked heavily worn and overdue for replacement. Nothing appeared freshly wiped or sanitized, which is concerning in a space full of young kids. The party room was uncomfortably hot, and while there was a party host assigned, they weren’t very involved or helpful compared to hosts we’ve had at other indoor playgrounds. Overall, the experience felt unorganized and underwhelming.
Hopefully the owners take steps to improve both cleanliness and customer care...
Read moreWe took a chance and visited Giggles and Fun Indoor Playground on S Dairy Ashford. The entry way is very clean, has snacks displayed for purchase, a few kiosk set up that allows you to sign the waiver before going to the counter to pay. The two young ladies sitting behind the counter weren’t very welcoming. No one is allowed in the play area with their shoes on and I love how there are closed door cubbies for your shoes. They have a grocery store, pizza parlor, Vet hospital, police station, dramatic play room, an are for small kids to play and a separate are for older kids. Their are signs up that display the rules and one of them is that all toys must stay in their room. Kids are kids and if parents are not supervising them, their is no way they are going to follow that rule. With that being said; their were unsupervised kids there and the place was a mess. Their were grocery store items and basket in the jail house (Maybe they wanted to feed the inmates.) and pizza parlor. Dramatic play clothes and clothes from other rooms all over the floor. The balls from this machine were all over the place. Neither of the employees seem to care as they sat behind the counter on their phones. My child made several attempts to remove items and take them into another room, that wasn’t happening.
Good customer service and working smart not hard, is very important to me. A little advice to anyone who works in this type of establishment; if you monitor the kids and redirect them, before they remove an item and keep up with the cleaning, throughout the guest visit, you will have less work to do at the...
