Used HEB's curbside pick up for the first time today. The experience wasn't "bad" prior to arriving I had received the text message I want to say about 6 minutes before I had arrived. When I did Park I waited another 15 minutes before the employee came out with my groceries. So they lost one star there. The second star was lost when I open a Texas trio shushi dish that HEB prepares and sells. I noticed that whoever makes the sushi trays must get charged for the wasabi that they make. I literally got a dime size portion given lol not an exaggeration y'all I'll post along with this post. But like I said overall The experience wasn't bad a few little tweaks and hey you get five-star's ⭐ my camera on my phone isn't the best. But I'm sure we can all spot the problem lol.

Curbside is MY THINNNNGGG, lol. But, no … on a serious note, I’ve never ever had a rude employee, and I don’t purchase like 5 or 10 things, I work so much so I get everything I need to at that moment. Which sometimes it can be a lot. Yet never no mean faces or attitude. They are all so nice & very careful on how they place things in the trunk, like if it was their own food. I know the policy states not to tip… but how could you not !!? 😊 today is the 15th & Houston is having a freeze… yet they’re still open & serving curbside , amazing attitudes & smiles for having to be in these temperatures unloading groceries. Anyway , I go on & on. But, thank you so much guys. You make life so much easier 😌

Never been here before. Came to get some "Bacon Pecan Brittle". Ended up with a basketful of groceries. Great store, friendly and helpful employees, so many choices. They seem to have everything and more, but it only seems that way. Their frozen pizza selection was limited. I could not even find their "nuts, etc." section, even though it was on the sign for one lane. I even asked an employee who sent me to a different isle, to no avail. Also limited selection of microwave popcorn.

This use to be my favorite store I literally go in there 2 to 3 times a day because I always forget something as of 2 weeks ago everything changed the cashier put a 5 dollar charge and put animal on the receipt I asked what it was for they never said but I think they tried to charge my for my sunglasses at the bottom of the cart which is a ben e Kieth product from my husband's job the next day I went and bought a laundry product it spilled in the bag the girl asked if I wanted to replace I said no just take it off but was still charged I had to go back to get my correct change. two days later got a product on sale buy the product at a certain price get something free although I got the items that was free for free I was still charged the full price on a discount product I told the cashier he pointed to the savings at the bottom I went home did my calculations and saw he only used 1 coupon instead of the 3 I gave I had to go back and show the manager which also seen the error.the next day I went in the morning to get the half price produce and again was charged full price Evan though the stickers clearly showed 50 % off. if I use wic then I always have to do that order separately because the last time they said a few products wasn't wic approved even though I get it every month the lady took it off but also took the benefits with it . the braking point is today I just left and made my purchase and added money on my card 37 $ but the cashier only put 32$ it's like now I can't Evan leave the store with out checking the receipt and making sure they didn't mess up again im always having to show them pictures of their sales to make sure they don't over charge me .I live close to the store so I'm always there I do all my shopping there for the past ten plus years I'm taking my biesness elsewhere from now on . The bag of chicken legs quarters are always butchered half the thigh meat is hanging off the side the ground chilie meat always has bones in it so I always purchase for a higher price at Walmart the last pack of split chicken was nothing but cartlage and fat I couldn't tell because it was at the bottom curd side is a no if you want meats or produce because they always give dead produce to you and they pick the most expensive meat is was charged yesterday 19.52 for chicken breast that was supposed to be 11.90 when it asked if I wanted to change or cancel orders in my Cart the site would not let me because they didn't send the message for it until it was 1 min before pick up time so I had to take the chicken back myself then went and picked out two packs of the same meat with the price they charged they always put chemicals with food which is a no go I like to bag myself just last night I had to tell the young guy on the register not to put my babys food with chemicals I don't think he understood what I said because he was the same guy that had to do my return for the over priced chicken because when I asked if I need to sign for my return he still had no clue what I was saying I'm not sure he can speak English I will be doing all my shopping in the Pearland HEB and...

I have been shopping at HEB on Blackhawk on a regular basis for about 13 or 14 years. This morning was my most worst experience there ever. While I was bagging my items the Cashier on register 4 starting bagging my dry Kool-aid Packs with my wet meat item from the Deli. I politely said to the young man...I will bag it myself sir, because I didn't want my dry packs with wet stuff. His response was...It's all plastic, it's all plastic. He said it like 3 times. No biggie, I finished bagging, paid, then left the store. While in my truck about to leave I decided I would go ahead and call the store and speak with management to simply educate the young man in regards to this issue for future reference.Ā  So IĀ  called and a guy named Nick answered the phone. I informed him that I would like to speak with a manager.Ā  He asked me what for. I explained that I needed to speak with a manager in regard to a minor issue in the store. He said what. I was already running late for work and was trying to avoid doing a whole explanation with him just to have to do it all over again once I got a manager. So I said to him again, it's about a minor issue I had in the store. He still wanted more details. That wasn't enough info for him. I then asked was he a manager and he said no. So I said...So Nick, are you saying you are not going to allow me to speak with a manager if I do not run the details in full to you first? He said and I quote...If you do not explain to me why you want to speak to a manager we can have this conversation another day and then hung up in my face. I immediately went back into the store to speak with a manager myself, but now about Nick. I spoke with a manager named Chris who attitude was no different from the Nick guy. Actually worse. I then pulled out my phone and said I am now going to record this for transparency. Chris immediately said...This conversation is now over and stormed off. I then proceeded to the courtesy booth to get Corporate number. As the lady behind the courtesy booth was writing down the number Chris storms up behind me and not to address Nick's behavior,Ā  but to tell me to leave the store. I'm like, what are you talking about I'm getting the number to Corporate. As the lady behind the counter was confirming the number with me and I turned to leave the store, Chris had already summoned his security guy to tell me to leave the store that I was already leaving. And for absolutely no reason at all. What kind of manager of a store of this magnitude HEB, addresses a customer's concern or complaint in this manner. This guy Chris was strangely acting very unhinged. I'm not sure if his behavior was maybe because him and the guy Nick are maybe close friends or something. Maybe he didn't want him to get a write up or something I don't know. I just know that neither one of these guys represented HEB in an honorable fashion this morning. And this matter definitely needs to...

I am completely disappointed with my recent experience at this H-E-B location and will never return.

I visited during my lunch break to surprise my colleague on their birthday. I stopped by the floral department to get a few ballons and a bouquet. I was kindly greeted by an associate named Andy, who was very polite and helpful. He assisted me by inflating five balloons and gave me the tag to pay at the register.

However, my interaction with his coworker Ashley was the complete opposite. I asked her if she could create a bouquet with the flowers I selected. She agreed and let me know that the wrapping paper was $2 per sheet, which I had no issue with. But then she added a 1.4% upcharge per item being included in the bouquet. I asked for clarification since I wasn’t familiar with that policy, and she said it was standard. I accepted that and waited while she assembled the bouquet.

Then things took a turn. Ashley told me I needed to go pay for the bouquet and balloons before she finished. I let her know I’d prefer to wait until she was done, as I didn’t want to stand in the long lines twice. She insisted again, saying she needed confirmation that I paid. At this point, I felt targeted and disrespected like I was being accused of trying to steal $33 worth of flowers and balloons.

I stepped away to look at cakes and returned to her repeating the same demand. What made this worse is that other customers were walking around with items, unbothered, and not once were they treated the way I was. I couldn’t help but feel that I was being judged whether because of my skin color or the hat I was wearing, the energy was very clear.

I asked to speak with a manager. Shelice, the manager, was kind and apologetic, but the resolution was disappointing. A $9 discount felt like a slap in the face considering how uncomfortable and humiliated I felt in that moment.

HEB is a store I’ve trusted for years, but this particular location has lost my business. I sincerely hope they revisit how they train employees on bias, customer service, and...
