1st off HEB is started out as a mom and pop Texas store and has grown. One of the things that has stayed the same is their commitment to the community. We went during the kid event, we didn't need anything just wanted the kids to have fun. This location is one of the bigger ones and not within 10 mins from my house. I loved that this location has a bigger bakery selections. They had the normal assortment of baked goods but at this location they also had Truffles and other Delicacies that you would find at high end stores but for a more reasonable price. I loved that they also have fun things for your home. My son wanted the pumpkin man and I wanted the unicorn cake. We had a blast with the face painting and other actives they had around the store. I also got to talk to the manger, he is thinking about offering cake decorating classes as a community event. As far as the cleanliness and products variety and in stock, everything was perfect. You would think with multiple kids running around it would be super messy and what not. Nope! It was super clean and stocked well. The day we went was the Saturday before schools in my area started up again on Monday. So every parent was there for a few last minute shopping items as well as to get the kids out of the house.

I’ve complained several times, no response. When I lived across the street the H-E-B assigned to my app for delivery was the store located 8 minutes from me on League City Parkway. I moved across the street and my new store assigned on my app is 35 minutes away in Clear Lake. My deli items arrive lukewarm and my frozen are thawed. Additionally I can’t buy wine from this store though H‑E‑B tells me I can, the app won’t allow it. I’ve learned from another HEB rep (I’ve called probably 20 times and get different answers) it’s because this store is so far away, across county lines, that I can’t order wine. Another rep told me I was zoned wrong, North side of the lake is zoned for Clear Lake and everyone South of the lake (except me) is zoned for my League City store. So when I need fresh groceries and wine I use my neighbor’s address or Instacart Kroger. If I’m in a jam and need items that won’t spoil I’ll use my address. FYI I spend over $1000 in wine per month but H‑E‑B doesn’t apparently need my money. Terrible IT department, if they have one at all. I’m STILL dealing with this and receiving rotten food because this store is so far away! If you are an inexperienced IT person looking for a job it’s obvious HEB is not picky!

Is this a joke HEB?! This is not prime grade NY strip. Where is the marbling? This is choice or even possible select. Is there something wrong with your meat department or is this rip off on purpose? Do you guys just pawn off undesired cuts of meat for deliveries? I'm extremely disappointed in this HEB location. Every time we order meat from here and have it delivered it's absolute trash. Please get your act together because we will never purchase meat from you guys again!!

This review is ONLY regarding the H-E-B BLOOMS SERVICE

I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING WITH M. JARREL FROM THIS H-E-B Floral Blooms department. Please go to any other H-E-B Blooms department in another store or...if you really need to.... ASK FOR ANOTHER floral department employee in this Clear Lake location.

In short, whoever hired this employee needs to know that (despite multiple efforts to correct the situation) she:

  1. DID NOT send us any sort of quote until about 2 weeks after the initial wedding floral appointment

  2. Sent us a quote for floral arrangements that DID NOT MATCH the modifications we asked for.

  3. When sent an updated/ corrected list of floral arrangements, SHE STILL LEFT OUT some of the floral arrangements we were asking for.

  4. When we called to try and add the missing floral pieces from our original quote, she rather rudely gave the excuse that she had not responded to the email (for almost 2 weeks) because "she was busy due to prom season"

  5. After this phone call, Megan Jarrell said she would send the final "corrected" floral quote with the updated price.... Megan Jarrell SENT THE EXACT SAME QUOTE WITHOUT CORRECTING ANY OF THE MISTAKES SHE HAD BEEN MAKING SINCE THE BEGINNING!

I'm sorry, but if someone takes the time to come into a respected business and try to book floral arrangements for a WEDDING then we kind of expect to be treated better than this.

The incompetence and complete disregard of good work ethics Jarrell has shown has caused me to distrust her ability to correctly complete this and any transaction, much less actual floral arrangements for such an important date (wedding)! This H-E-B Blooms worker should face some sort of reprimands/ consequences for treating a customer so inconsequentially.

Jarrell cost us, bride & groom, weeks and weeks that we could have spent looking for other florists that would actually WANT to have our business.

Again, AVOID M. JARRELL from this H-E-B Blooms floral department section. She DOES NOT DO WELL when expected to get a price quote right, answer in a timely manner, or actually get your floral arrangements right.... which I mean.... IS HER JOB, right?

-disillusioned bride who took her...

We needed a cake for a baby shower, so I called and spoke to someone in the bakery. I described to her that we wanted a Rosette cake and told her what we wanted the cake to look like and she said they could make it exactly that way. We even went up there in person and ordered it. When we got there to pick up the cake, the color was wrong. After arguing with a young girl who kept insisting the cake looked good even though we kept telling her it was the wrong color. It would not have matched the rest of the shower decorations. After listening to her argue and make faces like we were stupid she finally got another lady to help us. After talking with her for 10 minutes she said she could scrape all the icing off and redo it. We had no choice because it was late evening on Saturday and the shower was the next day on Sunday. She told us she could have it ready in 15 minutes. When we went back in to pick it up about 30 minutes later it was already back in the box. I opened the lid to check the color and the color was corrected. When we got home we carefully pulled the sides of the box apart to remove the cake instead of trying to lift it out. The cake was hanging off the round cake board and the icing was drooping off about a 1/4 of a section of the cake. There as also huge gap between the top layer of the rosettes and you could barely see the bottom layer of rosettes. I wish I would have asked them to take the cake out of the box so I could inspect it. But I trusted them that the decorating would be good. Even though the color was wrong in the beginning, the decorating was pretty. The person that redecorated it got the color right, but did a horrible job decorating it. The cake was just very shabby looking. We were not only embarrassed but it was also very disappointing for the pregnant Mother to not have a pretty cake for her baby shower. The cake is always the center of attention but it is usually in a good way. Well not this cake. I will never go back to this HEB for anything. I wish I were able to upload pictures of...

WORST HEB in the entire Clear Lake area. I was a Kroger and Randalls shopper, until this HEB location opened. Years ago....in the first year or two....they were GREAT. I did 100% of my shopping at HEB. Then, in year 3 up until now they started sliding DOWNHILL FAST. They quit carrying several items I purchased at first, and several other items were either out of stock, or they quit stocking those items as well. I talked with management about this. They said they'd look in to it and get back with me...THAT NEVER HAPPEN. So....after a lot of attempts to rectify the situation, I decided to go back to shopping at Kroger, and Walmart. Yes, I know Krogers prices are higher, but I'd rather pay more for what I'm shopping for, than not get the product at all.....and this was before the supply chain problem. Now, because they are so close, I ONLY USE THIS LOCATION, for one or two quick items that EVERY grocery store carries. I tried the new store on Gulf Freeway ( the one that opened last year ), a couple of times. They have EVERYTHING AND THEN SOME....NO WEAK EXCUSES AS WHY THEY'RE OUT OF STOCK. I haven't decided whether or not to give them all my grocery business. They're definitely a further drive than Kroger and even Walmart. I'm wondering how long the Clear Lake Marketplace will remain open. The few times I've gone back in for 1 or 2 items, there are many people...
