Timeline story to share: Took the time to order online 3 custom sandwiches (took ~ 5-7 minutes) and received a confirmation email at 8:15pm, 45 minutes prior to their scheduled closure of 9pm.
I received a phone call from an unrecognized number at 8:26pm that I did not accept; no voicemail left. Then I received an email at 8:27pm from Subway stating my order has been cancelled.
I called the number I missed the call from and it was answered by a simple, "Hello?". I stated that I had missed a call from the number and the person said, "Oh, yeah, hey this is Subway, and we have cancelled your order because we are closing 30 minutes early...don't worry your refund has already been sent and you should have it in a couple of days.". I'm speechless and say, "Okay", because I know I am not speaking to anyone of any authority.
I do not know if this is a corporate store or a franchisee owned (odds favor), but this experience isn't our first with this location being difficult to do business with, which is why I am sharing this as a cautionary tale...
Whomever is an authority at this location should either keep their published hours or, adjust the published hours to those that their traffic flow supports. What they are doing by accepting online orders and cancelling them is an unacceptable operating model...this speaks loudly to the community that the franchisee serves and the franchisee's...
Read morePlaced an order at 9:27 PM, pulled up at 9:33 PM to the store for my online order and was met with the lights off and the doors locked. A male employee comes to the door and profusely insists that I placed my order at the wrong store. It took me showing my order and my receipt from my email for him to say it was in fact the right store. The entire time he was making my two sandwiches, he was muttering to himself, cursing to himself complaining about making my order. Slamming things left and right. I have no idea why the time for close is marked for 10 PM if employees want to lock customers out at 9:30 PM? If i was going to be met with this aggressive, hostile attitude, i would’ve much rather preferred him to process a refund so I could go to the Subway on Bay Area Blvd. I have no idea why this location employs employees with such ugly attitudes, who clearly want a check for free. It took him a total of 10 minutes to make my two sandwiches, so I don’t understand why he was so hostile towards me. It’s not like he got out late? He still had to be there till 10 PM anyway.. I felt very uncomfortable yet I still thanked him for making my order and I was met with a “mhmm” and no eye contact. 0 stars if I could. Avoid this location...
Read moreEasily worst subway I’ve ever been to. For a few months now it is consistently a bad experience. Staff are generally rude, untrained, and very slow. I rarely see anyone wear a mask, hairnet, etc… when I went today there was a long line and one very slow moving employee who seemed to be arguing with another employee who was on the phone in the back. They are often out of things. I went one day like 2 hours before they closed and they were out of bread. I asked if they were making more they said no it takes too long. The flavored tea containers are often unlabeled and filthy. Once I went and it appeared one was in The wrong container as the color was different, when I asked the person about it they said. “I don’t know that’s not my job.” Finally, they often forget to turn on the open sign and I’ve been there at least twice during business hours and the door was locked with no...
