Okay, so, I didnāt want to post this, but I was convinced otherwise. I went into this TJMaxx to return an online purchase within the 40 days. I had my packing slip and my order /shipping confirmation email ready (even though I technically only need one). This is all that it says I need on the TJMaxx website and what it says the packing slip itself. The cashiers were very nice and I apologized for making a return because I know theyāre annoying. I left my purse at my grandmaās house by accident, and even though I know it said that I didnāt need my ID or card anywhere, I thought I would mention that I didnāt have those things. The cashier asked the manager if that was okay. The manager was kind of rude to the cashier when she asked for help. I mentioned to her that I bought the items with PayPal and that I knew that online it said I would receive merchandise credit instead of a cash refund and that was what I was already expecting so it was fine. The cashier told me I needed my card. I told her if she wanted proof that I had the same card that made the purchase it was in my mobile apple wallet and I proceeded to show her. She said no, and that I needed to insert the card. I have no idea what the problem was, as I stated before, the website said I only needed my packing slip and email to make this return. I donāt know why I would need to insert my card if I had purchased with PayPal and shouldāve been receiving store credit. I guess I shouldnāt have mentioned that I didnāt have my purse with me, but I think this manager needs to brush up on the refund/return policies because I did not enjoy being looked at like an idiot. The cashier said she was sorry. I was feeling myself getting upset, and Iām the kind of person that cries when Iām in frustrating situations, so I just said itās okay, took the clothes and left. The cashier that was helping me was so nice, she would be a good manager. This is straight from the website: āreturning in store In store returns, which are subject to the above restrictions, are accepted within 40 days of your order date. If your purchase is eligible for an in store return, bring your item(s) and either your receipt or shipping confirmation email to your nearest store locationā āReturns With a receipt/packing slip or shipping confirmation email will receive a cash refund or charge creditā¦. Purchased with PayPal and returned in store will receive merchandise credit.ā Iām probably not going to return to this store. I donāt have a TJMaxx closer than 30 minutes to me, so the fact that I have to go out of my way to find another store to return what shouldāve been returned readily is very upsetting. They should really find a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience ever. Staff is somewhat helpful but all in all a very bad day. We came to spend money for our two years old birthday party coming up. We had a $50 gift card we intended on using as well. My wife had to use the restroom while we where shopping there and somehow her wallet slipped out of her back pocket and she didnāt notice. We continued shopping in the store looking for gifts. When we got to check out I noticed someoneās credit card on the ground. I grab it, and showed my wife. She then realized she was missing her wallet when she reached for her back pocket and went to go back to the restroom to look. I returned the card to the front where the check out clerk located the owner of the card. I returned to wife who was unfortunately unable to locate the wallet. We began to panic and asked the staff for help. When we asked for the help on whether or not we could see footage, they stated that we needed a police report to be filed. Mind you this JUST HAPPENED. So we decide to leave our information with the worker upfront incase anyone brought anything up. Sure enough as we are about to leave an elderly woman brought the wallet to the front saying she found it hanging on the bathroom stall on the door. We thanked the lady for finding the wallet however $100 cash that we planned on using for our daughter was stolen out of the wallet. Thankfully they where half decent enough to not take my wifeās other personal belongings inside the wallet. We ended up not using the gift card and and putting all the items back. Currently trying to figure out a way to buy my daughters presents and birthday cake still because of this. Will never be coming back here again. Had someone been able to check footage we couldāve maybe found out who stole the money. But then again Iām not really sure. I just wouldnāt wish...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a bracelet while on vacation in California. The clasp broke, so I went to the store in Houston when I returned. I was told I had the wrong receipt. The manager that evening was helpful. She told me to call corporate and have them recreate the receipt, which I did.
I returned today SEPT 4 with the information. The young lady at the jewerly counter was very professional but had trouble with the return, so she called the manager MARTIN H, and here is where it all went downhill. He is RUDE UNHELPFUL AND DISRESPECTFUL. He asked her what happened, and when I went to speak, he put his hand up and said I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU!!! EXCUSE ME?!?! Then he started speaking in Spanish so I couldn't understand him. I will be setting my alarm to be on the phone with corporate and reporting him across all media. There was absolutely no reason for his behavior. I am more determined than ever to get restitution, and it will be my last time stepping 1 foot in your stores. I know it doesn't matter and has no impact. But you will not be counting my $39.99 amongst your profits. I want my money back. Selling subpar merchandise and then refusing to take it back is diabolical.
18 Sept 2024 - They offered to send me a check to reimburse me for the merchandise, and now I have been ghosted and / or blocked on their platforms. I have never in life encountered an entire corporation who operate in...
