Unprofessional, will not return your calls promptly, and will try to charge you for services not completed. Was told our trailer would be finished in 4-6 weeks dropped it off Feb. 25th. Picked up April 26th AND shelving still needed to be installed (was picked up that day because we had an event that was scheduled off the given timeline of completion). Our shelving was installed on June 6th!!!! Will NEVER do business with them again. The work is good but, bad horrible business practices and very shady. Was invoiced yesterday after we terminated their services last week when we finally got our trailer back from his location. Make sure you have a contract if you choose to use this business stating the terms of agreement regarding the completed date and the consequences of not finishing in a timely fashion. Time is money and a lot was wasted working with them.
Plus only offers a 1 year warranty on the work. Too many other companies whose work is just as good, fair warranty, great business practices, and pricing is comparable. They maybe King at building trailers but not building business relationships.
Update: 8/12/2019 I see Patrick came on and replied to my review with dishonesty as he is in the business of lies and unprofessionalism. Trailer King was hired s to modify our already owned trailer and Patrick Bolanos said it would take 6 weeks MAX. We our a beverage trailer no cooking so all we needed was walls, sinks, countertop, and fridge installed, ac, generator.
The day we picked up our trailer after hounding Patrick for a completion date, we had an event that day. We arrived to the shop and he tells us oh by the way you need to go buy a battery, fuel, and oil to test you generator. uh you had our generator for 2 months, and you knew we had an event and it didn’t dawn on him that maybe he needed to tell us that before we got there??? So we were late to an event that we booked in good confidence our trailer would be completed and it wasn’t because they still had to install our shelving.
We fired Trailer King Builders after getting our “closet looking shelving” installed because we were frustrated with the lack of urgency and professionalism (mind you our fee had been paid IN FULL the day we picked up our trailer WITHOUT shelving, where they do that at!!! Pay for a job that wasn’t complete in its entirety?)
We are a franchise and our wrap had to be created by our marketing team and I explained that to Patrick and they delayed the process of the wrap when he would not give me the constructed dimensions in a timely fashion. Once I FINALLY received the dimensions (a picture of notebook paper handwritten dimensions, then I requested he type them up, like a professional would do) it took my marketing 4 weeks to then get a file to Patrick. Who said he had “someone” who could do a full trailer wrap in 24 hours. Patrick received the file on a Thursday and did not open said file until Saturday, and then discovered the file was not printable and emailed my marketing and said he could not print please send a different format. To which this point no one was at work. I then decided we were not going to let “his friend” wrap it. Plus he already stated he could not print it.
We got the “shelving” done and procured the trailer from his backlot and told him we no longer needed his services to which he now claims that he had the wrap printed and ready to go. Our reply, was how did you print something that you just said you couldn’t?? He then began calling and harassing us about getting it wrapped and said it now can be done in 3 hours! What? A wrap that you said takes 24 hours can now all of sudden be done 3 because you’re losing our business. No, we needed that same energy when we were calling you constantly for updates. Then to not ever apologize or take onus for his shortcomings and to repeatedly disseminate this lie of us not paying for something you didn’t do and couldn’t do is malarkey.
P.S. I’ll continue this review below of the myriad of issues I’ve had since getting our...
Read moreOur interaction with Trailer King Builders has been a journey of frustration, disappointment, and significant financial burden. What was supposed to be a seamless acquisition of a quality trailer turned into an ongoing saga of critical issues, unmet promises, and substandard craftsmanship.
Let's delve into the major issues that have plagued our experience:
Tank Installation Error: From the get-go, it was evident that the tanks were installed incorrectly. Despite bringing this to Trailer King Builders' attention immediately, we were met with delays, unfulfilled promises, and a runaround. The freshwater tank, which was supposed to be clear plastic, was replaced with a metal one without our consent, which is against our state’s health code. Reimbursement for the correct tank, as promised, never materialized. Instead, we were left to foot the bill for the replacement tank. The gray water tanks were also installed in the incorrect place, and it needed to be fixed. Despite Trailer King Builders promising to fly to us and fix this twice and canceling last-minute, we had to find a local fabricator to rectify Trailer King Builders' mistake. We do give some credit, as Trailer King Builder did foot this bill to get the tanks placed in the correct place.
Chef's Base and Electrical Issues: The chef's base provided by Trailer King Builders has been a constant source of frustration. Despite multiple attempts at repair, it fails to maintain temperature, rendering it useless. Trailer King Builders promised for months, without follow through, to fix the unit. Moreover, the electrical system was found to be dangerously misconfigured, with incorrect wiring, water leaking through outlets, sparks when switches are turned on and lack of proper labeling, leading to safety concerns and additional expenses to bear.
Persistent Leaks and Defects: It's disheartening to note the multitude of water leaks and defects discovered throughout the trailer. From poorly sealed windows to faulty plumbing and rusting propane pipes, it seems that every corner we turn reveals another issue that requires attention. The lack of attention to detail and quality control is glaringly evident.
Blueprint Inaccuracies: The discrepancies between the blueprints provided and the actual construction of the trailer are alarming. Not only were critical components missing or incorrectly specified, but attempts to rectify these errors were met with silence or inadequate solutions from Trailer King Builders.
Customer Service Failures: Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of this ordeal has been the abysmal customer service provided by Trailer King Builders. Promises of reimbursement, warranty repairs, and solutions have consistently fallen through, leaving us feeling disregarded and unsupported.
Hood Fan and Grease Leakage: Adding to our frustrations, the hood fan installed by Trailer King Builders has begun to sag precariously from the ceiling, posing a significant safety risk. Furthermore, the grease catch provided with our hood is ill-fitting, resulting in leakage and spillage, creating a messy and potentially hazardous environment within the trailer.
Adding insult to injury, the vast majority of these issues remain unresolved, despite Trailer King Builders' repeated assurances of warranty work over the 11 months we have had the unit. They have now become unresponsive after their latest promise to correct these, among other, issues. They have failed to stand behind their product and fulfill their obligations, leaving us stranded with a trailer riddled with defects and safety hazards.
In conclusion, our experience with Trailer King Builders has been nothing short of a nightmare. The litany of issues encountered, coupled with the lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by the company, is utterly unacceptable. I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of Trailer King Builders as I...
Read moreMy experience with TBK or Green copper field llc which filled for chapter 11 on July 3rd Was an absolute nightmare this has to be one of the worst experiences of my life dealing with this company. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. They don’t answer phone calls. They don’t return messages and or emails.. They were over 105 days late on my project. My favorite line they use is manufacturing delays They can’t always be manufacturing delays for almost a year straight. The amount of lost income over the summer is immeasurable . The quality of the work is subpar at best glue and screws left all over the place, ac condensation sitting on the roof because they can’t plumb a line off the roof so when you move the trailer water pours on and in your storage door room . In general just extremely low quickly work there hacks and cut corners on everything. When you call or leave message about a problem with your trailer they always have an answer on why something is not working correctly. I’m currently in contact with around 10 previous customers that all fell the same way. We were all screwed over by TBK. Let me tell you about the owner Patrick I was a little bit critical of his work on Instagram and Facebook and he blocked me and deleted my accounts which he does to other people because I’ve been in contact with them. That’s why when you go look at his Facebook and Instagram account there’s no negative comments on any of his pages. If you want an over priced low quality craftsmanship this is the company for you. If you want your money to disappear this is the company for you. Yesterday I was a little bit critical of Patrick again on the phone and keeping in mind. He’s under a one year warranty with me and he’s got 10 to 11 months left and he blocked my phone number because he’s so scandalous and can’t handle any criticism. He’s basically a man child. Im sure Patrick or one of his assistance. Will come on this post and come up with some smart comment on how my trailer was delivered and I didn’t check this and I didn’t check that. but keep in mind absolutely poor quality of work and why I would be on Google reviews giving him this kind of review and also anyways they’re basically bankrupt. They owe between one and $10 million to 50 to 99 Anyways I got pictures and screenshots and of everything Patrick! I won’t hesitate for one second to splash that stuff all over the Internet Upon no circumstances, don’t you do business with this company you will have nightmares you’ll lose your money and time and my words will haunt you at night when you’re sleeping. I’m one of many angry customers that have had huge problems with this company save yourself the headache and look somewhere else. Iv called the BB, reported him to Instagram and Facebook. Im in the process of drawing up paperwork to sue Trailer King Builders or green copper field LLC And I’m not the only one! Mark owner of Skye’s Thai Kitchen
