This school doesnât even deserve a star! My sister went to this institute for a couple months. She had to drop out because of a âteacherâ yelling at her and pulling the leash that was wrapped around her arm! We went to the institute to address the situation and we spoke to the dean and the teacher, but we made it perfectly clear that we didnât want any sympathy or for any favoritism. Clearly the teacher didnât understand because that evening my sister got an email that because of what happened and the inconvenience of driving everyday, that she would be excused the remainder of the week. Seriously?! We told the dean and the âteacher â that at home we donât yell at her or grab her, so why would we be okay with it happening at school? Teachers should treat students with respect. My sister didnât yell at him or anything but Iâm surw if someone else would of done it, that student would of been suspended. And thatâs for defending themself. We told them that we didnât want for this to happen again because next time we would go with backup (law enforcement). The dean said, â oh you can come with whomever you want...â. Thatâs not an educated response. And then to bring up non related topic to make it seem like they are a lenient school!!! Then in the end of November/December my sister was trying to get a transcript to enroll at another school and they were taking their sweet time to respond to my sisters emails. We are aware that if there is a balance due then their is obviously a hold. But nothing was explained to my sister. So now my sister has her transcript but she will be behind in getting registered at her new school. The faculty are very unprofessional and not friendly! I think if a student needs help with ANYTHING the staff/faculty should be able to show that they are open to do so. Also, when a parent goes in to address a situation or concern they shouldnât go to another room and start laughing. Very rude! Especially when the parents are the ones paying the tuition! My sister was very excited to attend that institute but once in there her dreams of being a vet tech were shattered. My sister wasnât the only one to drop out that week...I can imagine how many more. I understand that this career isnât easy, but the students need to be treated fairly and appropriately because they are the ones having to wake up early and the majority drive hours to get to that institute. Do they care? Nope! They need to make a lot of changes! And make sure that every âteacherâ is certified and has a passion for what they are teaching in vet tech! Not just uncertified people that are just there for a paycheck! So if you like to be yelled at, mistreated, not awknowledged (if your a parent, heck, even if your a student there) , told that you will go in at 4am to clean the ceiling to the last minimums tile on the floor, and not get the appropriate help/guidance...then this is the perfect school for you. I wouldnât be surprised if this school...

From the very first interaction, our experience with our admissions rep, Mr. Ray, was nothing short of outstanding. He was top tier in every way â professional, personable, and incredibly thorough. My daughter never had to ask for anything because he made sure she had all the information she needed before she even knew to ask. It was truly refreshing.
We had toured several schools before this one, and no one came close to showing the same level of genuine enthusiasm and care like Mr. Ray. My daughter was honestly taken aback â in the best way â because she had never met anyone during the admissions process who made her feel so seen, supported, and important. It wasnât just about getting her in â it was about making sure she belonged there.
When we arrived for our one-on-one tour, it almost felt like we were already part of the VTI family. From the friendly front desk staff to the students, and of course Mr. Ray himself, everyone made us feel welcome. While my daughter was the testing room taking her assessment, several students came by just to say hi to him â and that spoke volumes. It was clear that Mr. Ray had earned their trust and respect, and as a parent, that gave me so much peace of mind knowing that my daughter would be in such great hands for her first college experience.
On the ride home, I asked my daughter what her favorite part of the tour was, and without hesitation she said, âMeeting the Mr. Ray.â She said he made her feel like he genuinely cared about her getting into the school â and it didnât feel fake, it felt real. And even two months later, he still checks in. He hasnât changed â he still shows up, still supports, and still cares.
For anyone feeling nervous about the assessment process â donât give up! My daughter is proof that with the right support and encouragement, you can pass. He cheered her on every step of the way, sent her helpful resources, and kept her motivated until her nerves faded â and then she passed!
Now weâre in the financial aid phase, and heâs still right there making sure everything is moving smoothly. We continue to feel like weâre more than just an applicant â weâre family.
Learning about this school has been such a rewarding experience, and we truly couldnât have asked for a better admissions rep. He made all the difference, and weâre so thankful. If you're considering this school â know that you're not just enrolling in a program, you're stepping into a community that cares.
Forever...
Read moreI have waited 2 weeks for Mr. Hayden to acknowledge my email that was sent to him. Since he has failed to do so, and since I donât have contact information for anyone else, I am posting it here in hopes that someone will see it and take it seriously, as this conduct is unacceptable. I am removing the name of the instructor as Mr. Hayden already has the information in his inbox, as well as to not expose the individual to the world.
Additionally, I see another review posted below from a student sharing knowledge of the same activities. Something has to be done about this to protect the students from this kind of behavior.
Dear Mr. Hayden,
I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of serious concern regarding the conduct of one of your instructors. I am doing so anonymously out of fear of retaliation, but I believe the behavior in question poses both ethical and legal risks to your institution and the students involved.
It has come to my attention that Ms. __ has engaged in, and continues to engage in, sexual relationships with students who have not yet graduated. These actions appear to be in clear violation of professional boundaries and may constitute a breach of institutional policy, power dynamics, and student safety. This is not a rumor or hearsay â this behavior is ongoing and has affected multiple students within the last academic year, including my own daughter. This appears to be a pattern rather than a one-time incident, which makes it especially harmful.
As I am sure you are aware, relationships between instructors and current students violate most academic ethics policies and can expose the institution to liability. I trust that your office will take this information seriously and initiate an appropriate and confidential investigation into the matter. I understand that personnel matters are sensitive and cannot be publicly disclosed, but I strongly urge the administration to take steps to protect current and future students from further misconduct.
Thank you for your attention to this deeply troubling issue.
Sincerely,
A...
