I’m trying to understand how this place has over 4 stars on Google. These were some of the worst tacos I’ve ever eaten in life. All the tacos were cold. The chicken tinga was the driest and most bland taco I’ve ever had. They offer a few hand made tomato or pepper based sauces but that wasn’t enough. I asked an employee for chipotle cream sauce to add to my taco. She said that would be 75 cents. I said that would be fine but she never brought it to me. She was too worried about packing to go orders. I also think it’s petty to charge a customer 75 cents for sauce when my party of 2 already paid for 5 tacos, chips and queso, 3 beverages, a cookie, and left a tip. The southwest bean and rice taco was slightly better. The mango salsa made it edible. I still wasn’t satisfied. The description said it came with pinto beans. What I received was more like re-fried black beans… it was so weird. The ratio of beans, rice and other toppings was also off. The cookie was dry and hard. After one bite we threw it away. The free filtered water tasted like metal probably from the container that dispenses it. The contaminated taste of the water forced me buy a beverage to wash down the dry food. One of the employees checked on us, provided tiny containers of their free salsas and was pleasant. One of the younger cashiers was very socially awkward and seemed to have a hard time answering simple questions. The kitchen area is visible from the restaurant. Every time I asked a cashier for assistance the cooks stopped working and looked at me in a weird way which made me uncomfortable. The good: the queso was good. The chips were light and flaky but needed salt. The employees wore masks. They had cool art work. They were not busy when we arrived at 5 pm but did pick up after 6:30 pm. I do not recommend. Torchy’s Tacos and Velvet Taco are way better.

10/10 Try this place out. We read some other reviews that said to try this place out and extremely happy we did. It is a small taco place in a strip center looking area. The Queso and Chips with added Beef was delicious. Chips were fresh and crunchy, the queso wasn’t spicy but had great taste if you’re a queso lover. We asked for recommendations and ended up trying the Kogi, Baja Shrimp, Cali Club, Honey Chipotle Rib and the Barbacoa. We ranked them by which one had the best flavor that we liked the most. #0 Queso and Chips #1 Kogi and Honey Chipotle Rib tied for first. #2 Baja Shrimp #3 Barbacoa #4 Cali Club The Kogi was simple with great flavor, nothing too over powering. The Honey Chipotle Rib was sweet, jalapeño added good flavor and weren’t spicy at all. The Baja Shrimp was lightly battered and fresh tasting. The Cali Club wasn’t bad but was a little hard to eat because it was so large and didn’t have the stand out flavor the others did. *We did not try any of the sauces that came with the tacos.

This is now my go to quick and easy on the pockets spot to eat beautifully crafted yet delicious tacos!!! My first time there, I almost treated happy the menu with almost no disappointments!!! The dine-in area is pay first and seat yourself with the provided number concept, where your order is brought to you once ready. The food comes out the kitchen fairly quick, but perfectly cooked. The space is clean, open, and had a playful themed character, which all as to the experience. The staff is so friendly, professional and down to earth. They also provided quality service. And for those who are still concerned about COVID safety... They still follow through as they and closed down tables between other occupied table, as well as provide hand sanitizer at the door. There is free parking at the plaza.

I woke up early this morning and wanted to treat myself to a good breakfast. I stopped by this morning around 7:15 and was first in line to order two tacos to take with me on the way to work. My order was a bean, potato, cheese taco and a jalapeño sausage, egg, and cheese taco.

By 7:30 the lobby had 7 additional customers waiting for their food, and is when I started to become inpatient. 10 minutes later I received my food, which means I waited 25 minutes total for two tacos. Despite this I thanked the staff for their efforts and left to my office tacos in-hand. Little did I know my disappointment for this place had only just begun.

I would like to preface this by saying I work less than 10 minutes from this establishment, so it was not long after leaving I was sitting in my office and opening these tacos to enjoy. The first taco I opened was the Sausage, Egg, and cheese Taco. Immediately the first thing I noticed was the shredded cheese had not melted at all, which caused me to touch the egg and find that it was completely cold to the touch. I want to emphasize that this was not left it out on the counter and cooled down cold, this was just came out of the fridge and has not warmed up to room temperature cold. This was off-putting so I put this taco to the side and opened my second taco.

The second taco was the bean, cheese, and potato taco. When I opened this one it seemed the cheese had melted slightly which was a good sign. I sauced up the taco and took my first bite and almost immediately spit it back out. The only warm component to this taco was the refried beans. Even worse, the potato was not fully cooked. As you may know, raw potato contains solanine which is a poison. Solanine poisoning can cause headaches, nausea, diarrhea, and even death in extreme cases. Given that I did not want to start my day worrying about this I also tossed this second taco in the bin.

From the extended wait time, to the terrible food quality and safety - I was left extremely disappointed with this experience. I have been here many times before in the past, but this was such a disappointment I don't think I will return. I cannot afford to miss a day from work because the cook was rushing through orders and incidentally poisons me.

I am hungry, I am angry, and I am massively disappointed. You would think with 1,200 review and 4.5 stars that this would not happen. Unfortunately in this day and age not only friends and family add unwarranted 5-star reviews, but there are also companies where you can purchase 5-star reviews by the thousand. I am not saying thats what happened here, but I do not think reviews alone are a good source of information for selecting a place to eat. These are just too large of mistakes...

Grocery shopping on a early Sunday morning, wanted to grab breakfast tacos. Found this place on Google maps, out of way, but near my last stop. Walked in, first words out of my mouth to the young man & woman @ the counter was "I've never been here before, what do I do?" The young man said order with me & proceeded to do the worst job assisting me as a new customer. I noticed the menu board @ the door had differences than the laminated menu that was on the counter. When I mentioned it he half-heartedly said "yeah, prices changed, the board is correct..." First red flag. I proceeded to order and he keep focusing on my the first taco of my two taco, eventhough they were identical. After 3-4 minutes of back and forth of me being confused of his fixation. I decided this guy was lazy & thought I was a mind reader, so I began to hit him with questions to walk him through what he should have asked a first time customer. He then proceeded to over talk me, but I shut that down to by pointing out it only added to the confusion of a simple order of two breakfast tacos. Sternly, I made him repeated my order once he finally had it allowed. I paid & sat down to write this review because I despise bad customer service, but what I despise more was the failure to stand erect, treat me as a paying customer & make sure I had confidence in you taking my order as a customer.

I CANNOT recommend...
