Slay Nights - Michigan Haunted House Attraction — Local services in Howell Township

I knew it was opening night, that it could have some issues. I had 6 kids wanting to go. At $20 dollars a kid, plus 2 adults, that adds up fast. Many issues as far as cash registers, lighting and sound issues. They let my kids all go in, with technical issues and then we had to wait 30 mins to go in ourselves. Instead of a refund or partial refund, they offered us to go in again. No, we wanted to go with our kids as a group. They have done it. We weren’t scared the first time. The lights are not going to change that. The setup has potential, the young adults (clown) were very good and can tell has drama club experience. She was more annoying than scary, but it kept me laughing throughout the walk. This place is perfect for young kids. Not for teens or adults that can handle being scared. Went tonight with a group of 4 kids. Took an hour to convince the 12 year old to go because the chainsaw guy was good right in the beginning that the boys took off and refused to go in. It took 4 times to coax him in. He still wasn’t having it, the owner was amazing and came out and asked if it myself would walk through with him free of charge and even offered the other boys in the group to go with him, free of charge. The owner walked through with us and held off on some of the scenes and noise for the boy. Once half way in it was game on and by ourself. They did not disappoint. Haunted house was very good and long. The owner is not about the money, he is genuine and caring. Especially working with the boy in my group for almost an hour to convince him he would be okay. Absolutely amazing actors and actresses! By FAR MY FAVORITE! It has been at least 20 - 25 years since my last good haunted attraction; this topped that experience! All the employees and management are phenomenal and will do whatever they can to help you out if there’s an issue like I kinda had with tickets long story short they made it more than fair and above and beyond greatly appreciated!
