I decided to post this after my 4th visit - it's easy to give a review after the first visit. The location - clean and very trendy! The owner has a very nice suite and keeps the establishment sterile and very clean and smelling nice. You feel very comfortable when walk through the door.

The appointment setting - setting the appointment is very easy and straightforward. Leave a deposit and pay the remaining balance when your services are complete, that is only fair. I missed my first appointment and I forfeited my entire payment. But that is entirely my fault because I did a no call no show; the owner graciously accepted my apology and allowed me to make another appointment with a deposit. I paid for my services in full for that appointment, in good faith. Our track record is now restored.

Waxing services are the bomb!!! All the services that I have received (which is my personal business- but will say that you will not be disappointed) You will leave with silky smooth skin! the owner carries a product line for after-care that helps alleviate ingrown hair and to help exfoliate the skin.

Black & Woman Owned & Operated. This young lady definitely has great skills and is very professional. I'm so used to going to EWC and anticipating the hot heat & pain. Well my experience here was nothing like that. She has a lovely, cute shop with accessories for your wax or health sale. Looks like she'll be adding more to the shop soon.

I was greeted with a warm welcome and the shop has a nice Fall aroma to it. During the session the wax temperature was warm enough to get the job done and not burn me. The PLUS is that the removal was a very low pain level compared to what I'm used to. And know that it has been 2 months since my last wax. She actually got all of it done in less strips too. And yes I was very Silky Smooth. She gave me a sample of her serum to use and educated me on how to use it along with her other products. And she's very personable, we had a great convo as I'm not one to talk during sessions.

I usually don’t take time to write reviews however I HAD to take a moment to write a review of how EXTREMELY wonderful my experiences have been since I have been a client with silky smooth essentials. I relocated from California to Houston almost 4 months ago and finding a wax perfectionist was difficult because just as important as my hair, and my nails my waxing is a MUST it is apart of making me feel beautiful! I’ve had bad Experiences prior with leftover hair bumps, wax burns and irritation. Since coming here to the beautiful Shanteria not only have I not had a problem with ingrown hairs, my hair doesn’t grow back fast at all, I always get the best silky smooth results, my complexion on my bikini line has even improved WITHOUT any additional products!! 5 stars is not enough to rate her professionalism and service!
